what i’d like to know with this big tax cut for this Fifth Third bank is whether they are going to offer their customers lower interest rates on loans [mortgage, equity and credit cards] and higher returns on their savings, money market and CD accounts, as these actions would probably stimulate more business for them?

Do you remember the Dem and MSM storyline that reducing the corporate tax on corporations will only result in raising dividend payouts and share buybacks and be of no benefit to the economy? It only took one hour with hire employee wages resulting after the bill passed to dispel that load of bull.

The economy is booming (except in a couple blue states). Employment is tight. That drives up wages.

If an employer with good employees doesn’t pay more, the employees might jump to the competition.

But Democrats can’t understand it because it is not a government spending jobs program that hires navigators to hold hands

I was thinking that the tax cuts are going to bring boom times which bring labor shortages.

Some companies realize this fact and are trying to get ahead of the curve.

More good news here in East Texas. The word came down this week that due to the Trump tax cuts, that a fairly large local bank is going to give a $1,000 bonus to all employees making under $100,000/yr. I think they have about 1,000 employees. They are also increasing their 401k match and employee stock award plan.

I know, I know, it’s just crumbs, let’s get back to Russia...Russia....Russia...
