Often, what is non-traditional is not synonymous with medicine, at all. My friends that went to west Africa during the Ebola epidemic have seen many results of non-traditional “medicine.” It is not a rosy picture. Do you have faith in anything you do not understand?

Turmeric is supposed to be great for OA, took it for a year, didn’t notice any difference in pain level.
Selenium on the other hand is 100% more effective for sleep than Melatonin. Plus this trace mineral has many other body functions it effects.
Fish oil for me is a NO, I react badly to it.

I believe that there's an entity and there are principles I don't understand, but accept as beyond my limitations.
In terms of what I put in my body? I want to know what I'm ingesting. With pharmaceuticals, that's not clear. I only use products for which I know their ingredients and I've researched for myself their uses and their side effects. I do the same thing with food.
