Exactly. When do you support these idiots last charged an airline for a bird strike?

What makes you think the imbeciles have't tried?
I would google that...

How is it accidental if one knows one’s actions will most likely kill birds?

Stupid stupid statement!

Morons will make the same statement about cars!

There have been numerous times Environazis have planted false evidence of Endangered Species on public and private property with the knowledge and cooperation of EPA officials, and no action has ever been taken against them.

To add insult to injury, most of those criminal fakers were Federal employees!!

A State Trooper ticketed my Dad for taking a hen pheasant when the bird flew into the side of his car. The Old Man showed up in court to fight it and the Judge ripped Smokey a new one before dismissing the charge. This was back in the Sixties though.

Typical shakedown. Spend 8 years going green with windmills and then on the way out prosecute windmill companies for birds dying.

Does it mean cats will be outlawed?

The Migratory Bird Treaty Act has already been so interpreted.

I have a client whose home is near where a flock of migratory birds covered by the treaty decided to nest. He got a letter from the State Department of Land and Natural Resources saying that if his cat disturbed any of the nesting birds or their offspring, he would be liable for violating of the MBTA.

He basically said “screw you,” and as of yet the State hasn’t had the guts to do anything further, although I think his cat does run the risk of being trapped and destroyed.

Mind you, these birds aren’t endangered or anything else (frankly, they are a nuisance), but they are covered by the Treaty and so they are protected.

Our group paid an expert on the health aspect several thousand dollars to come come speak at the 8 hour community meeting with the BZA.

My experience working around and under them is not just the whoosh whoosh, but a low level grinding noise that is quite irritating.

I’m a vegan and I still see the sense of this ruling. Of course my heart breaks when any animal is killed on purpose or by accident but this is accidental. Thank-you President Trump.

From what I know over the years I’d have to give that article the Leftist Bullscoot award for extreme leftist bullscoot.

“I don’t think they should be prosecuted, given that the wind turbines were legally allowed. But those turbines kill thousands of birds; don’t provide that much efficient and affordable energy; and in some places they are causing human health issues.

I wouldn’t want to live near them.”

The politicians who pushed for these wretched things should be in prison and the windmills torn down.

Wonder if the author would support the lifting of the laws banning people from hunting robins [used to be as popular as dove hunting], owning migratory bird feathers to use as decorations on hats, owning song birds as pets, artists taking birds for study skins, etc.... because the numbers of birds that could be affected would be insignificant relative to any one of the bird dangers he listed?

I suspect the author would freak out at the thought of deregulating things for the ‘little guy.’

If accidentally killing birds was a crime, the liberal windmill farms would be out of business. They kill thousands and thousands every year.
