What? You mean she doesn't want to "spread it around", like her mentor, Obama, wanted us ALL to do? Her Taxes help pay her potential "voter/fan base", and she want's to refuse them? That won't go well in an election campaign. I guess her days of giving away free cars to the entire audience, are over. No wonder she was popular then. Sounds like you’re confusing employee withholding taxes with the taxes she pays personally. I think she’s talking about her personal taxes.

Companies aren’t ALLOWED to deduct taxes from employees. They are REQUIRED. If you mean everyone should be on a quarterly basis of paying estimated taxes, yes - then they would feel the pain and that would get everyone’s attention. But this is not what she’s talking about. At least, that’s my opinion for what it’s worth.

I used to sell real estate. You have to pay your own taxes. And it has to be quarterly.

Right - we were self employed for years and had the pleasure of paying the entire FICA tax also. It was called SE tax. The estimated quarterly payment had to be pretty near accurate or there was a penalty at tax time. Everyone really should have to go through that procedure, I agree! It would bring it home more than talking about it ever would.
