The problem is that even skilled foreigners just suppress American wages; it isn’t like we’re importing alchemists because they have a skill we need. Americans have watched the web of lies come apart (as to how open borders were supposed to benefit everyone), and they know immigration as a whole is horrible for American workers. Nobody wants to invest the time & money in job training/education because it has become clear that if you earn over $50K your employer is either lobbying to bring foreigners here to take your job, or they are working overtime to get that job sent overseas.
No more immigration until our (real) unemployment is 1% and the current batch of immigrants learns how to speak, read, and write English. One end of my town looks like Lima, Peru now; without changes the rest of it (along with most of northeast NJ) will soon as well.
And misinformation about who the Nightmarers are.
You should listen to kearnyirish2. He’s right; we need to stop ALL immigration. It benefits no one at this point but corporatists and globalists maybe wanting to squeeze every penny form the workforce. Maybe 5% of the pollution benefits from cheap labor.
I am still waiting for Ernst to make someone squeal.
Hey Joe, we bitch at you long time.
Shock to whom? The D.C. bubble people?
Why are they “shocked”????
Are we back to the days of “unexpected” perpetually showing up in headlines only now it’s “Shock”???
The only way we can end Chain Migration (which has no numerical or annual limit) is to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.
That means 60 votes in the Senate.
I don’t think the GOP could get 50 votes in the Senate on that issue.
That was a good ad, but she jumped on board the Cheap Labor Express as soon as she got there.
Gallup is lying like a rug.
The media and politicians are so full of it, telling us how we should think. (1) everyone believes in global warming, (2) everyone want illegal aliens to stay, (3) Islam is the religion of peace, (4) white people are inherently and solely racist, and (5) America is not exceptional and we look to globalism, multiculturalism, and diversity to save ourselves.
You be number 10.
I think we would be lucky to get 5 GOP Senators to vote for that.
Thanks 11th_VA.
The opening here is massive for a new political paradigm.
No shit
Even if Trump gets everything that hes aiming for, and that would be great, the misinterpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment still produces anchor babies for those that manage to get into the country. We can stem the tide but the original magnet for illegal immigration still stands.
Thanks, that was my rationale as well.
