“What happened to the country I grew up in.” “What happened” is that our entertainment, educational and media has successfully removed all actual punishment for any and all acts against social rules or laws. It is so bad that a parent can be prosecuted and sent to jail for simply whipping (spanking) their child in the process of making them learn that breaking the laws of society results in some type of unpleasant reward or real punishment. This is not the society we had back up until the mid 60’s. After that period the whole world changed...and this is “the proof in the pudding” so to speak.
Once spoiled....can’t be unspoiled.

It claims they “snookered” the FISA judges but with all the secrecy of the FISA court I think there is a good chance that some didn’t need much “snookering”....kind of a double edged paradox pops up - the FISA court needs some serious oversight but who can be trusted with that oversight?
