Manchin is a fraud. He talks moderate and votes reliably left-wing.
I hope the majority of Mountaineers are on to him at this point and throw him out on his sorry rear end at election time.
If this person is a “moderate”...quit. The country would be better off.
He is an opportunist. . .playing it both ways when it suits HIS interests.
If the Democrat party hadn’t gone so far toward Marxism moderation and compromise could be good. However, they are. They must be soundly defeated so the party might regain it’s sanity.

definitions (to my way of thinking)
1: a way of describing yourself when your views are such that you know nobody on your own side will agree with you, and many folks on the other side will
2: a way of describing yourself when you are too embarrassed to claim you’re a Republican or a Democrat, and you’re essentially a Democrat
Oddly, conservatism matches up with the Founders, the founding itself and all the foundations of our government, and Christianity, these being altogether seen as subversive in a majority now Godless nation.
Anti-American is “in” and we are in danger. We slept too long, while enjoying our fruits and completely failing as Christians and sentries to man the damn wall.

If "moderate" means "sane and responsible" that may be true. Few people admit to being wild-eyed and reckless.
But I can't help noticing that people define the two sides pretty clearly and sharply, until other people come along and take positions further out and define the differences between the two sides even more starkly and pointedly.
Then the first bunch of people find themselves to be "moderates," even though that wasn't their intention or original idea of themselves.
