Snow would be nice...just a couple inches would be good. LOL!!

And wishing you the rain you need.

You CAN run the video back at Berry. :-) It’s been fairly quiet overall but there are shift changes and new grass brought in, and some food. ergh.
But soon we’ll have lil fuzzballs to admire.

Raimis arrived at the nest at 7:55:39 this morning and Meldina wasn’t far behind. But the best fun is at 8:36:36.
Eggs should on the way soon. :-)

Yes, I’d love for church to be able to get outside a little bit before his time is up. He wants to go out but it’s been way too cold for him. He gets chilled easily these days at his age, poor ol’ feller.

Yeah, a little snow to cover those icy roads would help. And with those bitter-cold temps, the ground needs a heavier blanket to protect the pipes. I’m surprised - and glad - you haven’t had problems already.

We won’t get much rain tonight, if any. Tomorrow and Wed. should be good though. We’ll take all we can get.

A very pleasant good Tuesday morning to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Lauren. How's it going?

I saw that! And now I know for sure which one is which! LOL! It’s a beautiful quiet snowfall. Better than the gale force winds they’ve had lately!

I know you can run Berry back, but all she does is sit. Or dad sits. I am looking for some REAL action....with bobbleheads!

Hope Church stays well enough to be able to enjoy spring and warm sunshine on his back. :)

The way I tell Raimis from Mildina is his head feathers are smooth and lighter colored. I used to have to see their tail spots to tell them apart but I’ve been watching them so long now, I just look at the heads.

They’re probably thrilled to have a day with no wind! It’s been just awful there for days on end. It makes it more pleasant to watch the snow fall when I can have the speakers up and hear the gentle whoosh of it falling.
Just glad it’s there and not here! LOL

I have all my appendages crossed for luck and hope for a good result on the kidney panel tomorrow. He seems ok but ya never know with this stuff.

I think Mildina has a sort of “dirty spot” on her tail feathers besides the black dots.

I guess I’d better head out. I think I’ll take a benadryl again tonight. Hate to very often though because then it gets hard to go to sleep without it.

See ya tomorrow. Quiz night. Again!

Yes, she does have that “dirty” spot. She’s still a little young and hasn’t completely lost the extra black on her tail feathers. She had a little more black when she first arrived last year.

I hope you get some rain soon so you’ll be able to breathe without taking meds. No fun at all.

Sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow night.

I’ve been leaving the cupboard doors open under the kitchen sink 24/7 for a while, as the pipes are on the outside wall....just in case. I could turn up the heat, but I’m trying to cut back on the utility bills as I am now paying them, and using so little of the space.

We’ve done the same in Clara’s kitchen and bathroom. Her big gas heater that’s like ours is in her kitchen and we turn it just high enough to keep her pipes from freezing if the cabinet doors are open, and the bathroom is just off the kitchen. The rest of the house is closed off.

And we do the same with the house that was built for Hubby’s other aunt that’s also on the farm. It has a central unit but the thermostat is kept low.

I keep trying to convince Hubby that we need to move into the other house and shut this one down. Our electric bills for this house are horrendous because of the crummy insulation. We both like this old house but......

Hi, Ma:

Little Rock (Or “The Rock” to its many veterans) started out as a bomber raining base during WWII. The graduated to Strategic Air Command (SAC) and B-47s during the 1950s and then B=58 Hustlers in early 60s. To become the biggest C-130 patch on the planet under Tactical Air Command (TAC), Military Airlift Command (MAC) and Air Training Command (ATC) during and after the Vietnam War.

With more than 200 aircraft on its ramp at any one time divided up between five squadrons. Plus an Air National Guard Unit, whose assigned aircraft were old F-101 Voodoos at the time.

For all of its power and numbers. The Rock is a surprisingly small base compared to many others.

Started my Air Force career there back in January, 1973 with several temporary duty (TDY) assignments to Rhine Main, Turkey, England and the Panama Canal Zone before leaving Active Duty in July, 1976 and continuing as a Reservist and Air Reserve Technician (Civil Service ART) at Andrews AFB in August, 1977.

never been there, but

I’ll still get those C-230s. They will all eventually end up at the AF Bone Yard Base “Davis Mon-tham” in Tucson

Got that right, Kitteh!
Mornin' is not a good place to be!
Especially for a Night Owl!
It's cloudy and cool today.
High humidity and I'm hoping for rain!
Prolly won't happen, but
...hope springs eternal. Right?
Anyhooooo....🦉...y'all have a Terrific Tuesday!
(((hugs)))
