I’m good with that. In fact I think it’s essential for our survival.

How can Page be both an FBI asset and also an excuse to surveil Trump. seems like a huge conflict of interest.

Of course we don't know if the FISA judge was part of the anti-Trump collusion. If it was Contreras, as some people have claimed, he may have seen Trump as anti-Hispanic and therefore someone who needed to be prevented from becoming President.

What if Comey handed the FISA judge a little piece of paper with the note: "POTUS says yes."

Cuz they don’t want history noting that the worst act of criminality in US politics was perpetrated by the first black President.

Would that be Clinton or Obama?

I still remember Clinton making the claim.

Exactly. Remember, plenty of the Dem pundits pointed to the “more bi-partisan” Senate investigation while discounting the veracity of the House memo. No wonder they’re all ignoring it.

Personally the next big trap is the release of the RAT version of the House memo.

I hope Trump justs releases the whole thing unredacted so the RATs can't declare that Trump is hiding something even if there's something top secret in there. Just redact names and a sentence here and there. That's it then release away and call their bluff.

We know information he obtained for the FBI from 2013-2015 was used to convict two Russians of spying. That is not really in dispute.

The question is, did he keep these two on the hook in order to obtain more information for counterintelligence about others? In that case, he would go from someone who merely gave the FBI a heads up about two Russkies who were trying to recruit him (and certainly others) to being a full fledged asset.

Did the FBI suspect Page of being a double asset? If so, there is nothing in the Steele dossier to that effect, nor is there anything in the Papadop-got-the-ball-rolling theory that pushes that theme. There is no representation anywhere that Papadop and Page even knew each other, nor did Papadop in his drunken rant even hint that Page was the contact point for Russians who had dirt on Clinton. If FBI had such suspicions, you would think that would have been presented to the FISC. It wasn't.

To the point: it's not a conflict of interest at all. It's evidence of corruption if true. You cannot claim you need to have Title I surveillance of an asset you control, unless you suspect the asset is a double.

Right, I didn’t phrase that right but that is exactly what I meant. Was the fisa court told Page was a paid asset rather than a target of serveilance??

I think that the Trump Administration has all the evidence they would need to prosecute the big fish already. I think that the Administration is leading the guilty parties, and the MSM discredit themselves over and over to degrade their standing over time by letting a little out, letting the criminals and their fellow travelers go on record lying and denying, then releasing more proof. This is necessary because even though what the Obama Administration did was clear cut bribe taking, espionage, election tampering, and sedition to bring down the government but it involves so many in the Democrat Party that the political battle has to be won first.

Because they aren’t that bright, and became Libs to get a seat at the “cool kids’ table”. They have no capacity for thought.

Was Carter Page an FBI asset? It appears he was, from 2013 onward...

Thank you for a through and well thought out post.
