Same for me. I never even took my cell phone to work, because I was certain one day I would forget and leave it in one of those silly mailboxes we had to use.

No electronics, nothing that can record or photograph. Mistakes all around and then, to use it and confess— this guy was a top counter espionage agent? We are all in trouble.

Lock them up. I hear they get conjugal visits in jail now, and f@#$ing seems to be the only thing these two do right.

Doesn’t look like love letters between an adulterer and his mistress, looks a whole lot like conspiratorial coverup and butthurt frustration that it was coming out in spite of their best “interests” in protecting Damne Hillary.

Re: “I don’t know about Page.”

Page looks like a survivor.

When she felt the legal heat, she moved up to a new and more powerful man.

He still skates. They will say he was on a break and used the wrong grammar. (SCIFs often have a place to store cell phones right outside.)

Unless he took a picture of the inside, he skates.

Not defending Strzok, but if one is about to go offline, it stands to reason that one would send message tacitly saying so by very succinctly stating why.

Strzok and Page appear to be name droppers to enhance their own self esteem and to impress their acquaintances. But their inability to suppress their stupidity defeats all their goals. Call it karma.

My last visits to a SCIF were before broad use pf mobile phones. The equivalent then would be a camera.

“if one is about to go offline, it stands to reason that one would send message tacitly saying so by very succinctly stating why.”

That’s my take.

If all the safeguards are in place that I have read about on this thread, I am forced to conclude that what Strzok wrote was a note “signing off” before he walked into the facility.

“We don’t care if you do it intentionally or unintentionally, if you violate Communications Security procedures, we will throw you in prison.”

That’s what I was told also, along with what would happen if we mishandled TS material, even once.

I wonder why the SCIF wasn’t protected by a Faraday Cage...the SCIF I ran to conduct training for NSA’s secure networking was protected and cell phones wouldn’t have worked - if we allowed them in but since they also had cameras, they stayed in a holding area in the SSO Office....maybe they “lightened up” the requirements because it was inconvenient to have cell service blocked so deep state folks couldn’t conduct their treason as easily.....

“F them.”

Is that from Page, referring to Congress?

Hubby read this and said he puts Strzok up there with Aldrich Ames and Robert Hanssen. He said he could’ve lost clearance and been prosecuted if he had taken even a calculator with volatile memory into a SCIF, much less a cell phone.

Who let him into a SCIF with even a watch on, never mind any electronic comms device? I hope it wasn’t a Marine sentry.
