I suggest people send their opinions to Superintendent Runcie until his email address is pulled.
Another article by American Thinker comments on the Promise Program. It is entitled, “How federal funding kept Nikolas Cruz from getting arrested and unable to purchase firearms.”
Here is that piece:
How federal funding kept Nikolas Cruz from getting arrested and unable to purchase firearms
Social Justice has replaced Law Enforcement. The sheriff is essentially untouchable until his next election which he will likely again win easily; the School Superintendent is protected by the political apparatus willing to sacrifice a few dozen residents to retain the ideology; the school board and county officials are all part of the political apparatus; the mayors are appointed not elected; the district attorneys are all-in on the program; and the judges come from the ranks of the attorneys
. so, dont expect changes.
Obama, Holder, Lynch, the entire social justice cabal at DOJ, and school districts all over the country falling all over themselves to win more federal slop -- they are all as guilty as hell. This is the Deep State beavering away to completely destroy what is left of public education. I'm sure they are just treating those poor 17 kids, their families, and their 4,000 classmates as just collateral damage. "You have to break a few eggs to make an omelette" some famous communist is alleged to have said.
This program essentially made public schools miniature sanctuary cities.
Well, that's fun to contemplate....
The Promise Program :
We promise all our little thugs and gangstas will be unleashed on society without a criminal record.

“The police are here to protect you, they know their job, and therefore you don’t need guns. You should give them to the state.”
The REAL question should be, “How many other Travons and Nikolas’ are out there, flying well below the law enforcement radar screen?”
A large squad of people FRom the Flori-duh the FDLE and Attorney General’s offices should be in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties (and EVERY other county participating in the PROMISE program “Keep the lawbreakers out of jail” program!) auditing/investigating their “interventions!”
So, will multiple murder charges be levied against the “Suits” who facilitated an obviously troubled young man being kept out of the Criminal Justice System when, clearly, he is a poster child for all sorts of intervention by the authorities?
Dems blew it again.
Like I often said about the 0bama Administration:
“They use the wrong I-word. It isn’t Incompetence, it is Intent”
Im confused about this - is this a typo? Did they mean to say able?
I believe we can color that as a fail.
No typo. It was a poorly written headline caused by trying to say too much. It was trying to say that federal funding kept Nikolas Cruz from getting arrested which would prevent him from purchasing firearms.
wow...thanks for the link
