From what I heard this morning, Delta’s not backing down, either.

The only play in the liberal playbook for this type of situation is called "double down on stupid".

Like communism, it has never worked when tried.

But that's only because the right people weren't doing it, and 'we' are the right people...

"what isn’t factored in is that Delta received a lot of free advertising towards sympathetic non-NRA members."

Hopefully, more left wing corporations will follow your advise and commit corporate Seppuku/kamikaze Left Wing Virtue Signalling with their fatal Never Trump Mental disease.

You are 100% dead on. These CEO jerks try to make a statement with gays, lesbians, and a lot of other crap, only to piss off their paying customers.

How many transgenders are there? But big corporations today would sacrifice every last dime of profit to pander to them.

Let’s see, they carried 13 passengers for maybe $10,000 in airfare and then got a tax break of over $40,000,000 for those 13, which would seem like a helluva good business deal for them, but they’re turning it down.

If only 13 passengers took advantage of the NRA discount offered by Delta, what's the big deal?

If the NRA discount program has no impact on their ticket sales, why would they decide to eliminate the discount, risking losing $40 million in Georgia tax breaks?

And pissing off 4+ million NRA members this will now not fly Delta, discount or not?

Corporate idiocy.

“These CEO jerks try to make a statement with gays, lesbians, and a lot of other crap, only to piss off their paying customers.”

Say these targeted scumbags are a total of 5% of the nation’s adults, and liberals are another 35%.

That means actions like this latest Virtue Signaling could piss off 60% of their adult customers.

Just basic dumb math as per my tagline.

If corporations would only learn not to mix politics and business.

If the NRA would only learn not to mix politics and business. The #1 complaint I hear about the NRA is about the barrage of calls and advertising new members get hit with.

Delta airlines has "0" to do with the Right to Bear Arms.

Well, maybe they do. We should remove any Marshalls.

So, you made a Public Relation Fiasco over, at best, a couple hundred dollars?

That is real smart.

Like the lucky strategist at “Carbonite” in 2012:
Limbaugh Hurt Revenue More than Expected | Breitbart
http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism/2012/08/03/carbonite-ceo-concedes-dropping-rush-limbaugh-put-bigger-hole-in-our-revenue-than-previously-expected/amp/

“Carbonite’s 2nd Quarter 2012 results shocked analysts, causing the company’s stock price to plummet by 15% in one day. “

“It turned out to be a bigger hole in our revenue than we had thought when we initially did this,” Friend said on a conference call on August 1

Delta lost a lot more than they realize.

I am not an NRA member, but I support their cause.

I am a Delta Gold frequent flyer and recently booked my last international flight with them.

Delta forgets that many NRA members are owners and/or executives of large corporations who purchase many flights per year. They may not purchase through NRA, but support their cause. Delta is going to find out this was a goodwill, business marketing disaster.

Delta, set the criteria the same for every group allowed a similar level of discounts and offer them to all groups who qualify. That’s non-political.

Dropping one issue group is being political....

At some point, Trump will tweet about Delta. Maybe he will say something like “I think I will order our air marshals to NOT fly Delta. Let customers and crews fend for themselves since the airline hates gun owners!”

The stock would tank.

Nope. Every single corp that starting posturing against the NRA has seen their public approval rating significantly drop in weekly marketing studies.

There is no upside for the corporations who decide to play agenda politics.
