Another useful idiot who subscribes to leftwing group think.
“A lot of people are going with this line of reasoning where they say, people in show business shouldn’t speak out about politics,” “And yet … they elected Donald Trump the president of the United States. So I think that argument has pretty well jumped out the window.”
It sounds clever when you first hear it but the critical word he just skips over is “elected”. If we elected Jimmy Kimmel president we might want to hear his take on politics night after night after night without a break. But we didn’t. Someone hired him to be a comedian so he should perhaps try his hand at comedy on occasion. Everyone is entitled to his opinion but if they have nothing other than opinions they should start a blog or run for office.
I don’t watch him, but most normal people would disagree that he is “still doing a comedy show.”
