Really? On Judges alone the GOP has been 100% better then anything a Democrat Majority will get you.

But because the GOP Congress hasn’t been able to do everything you think they should do in the 1 year 2 months Trump has been President you think the Democrats, who would legislate 100% opposed to everything you say you stand for, are “better”?

Make a 10-point list of what Democrats will do to us. ALL REPUBLICANS should speak of nothing else.

Nationalize the 2018 elections!

Nancy Pelosi will:

1) Open our borders
2) Take our guns
3) Raise taxes
4) Provide welfare for illegal immigrants
5) Persecute Christian/Jewish groups
6) Raise gas tax
7) Destroy Israel
8)
9)
10)

Newt is right. I hope he and Trump get together to nationalize the congressional races this year. Newt knows how to do it. Ryan could do it, but I don’t think he wants to. He wants his kind of Republicans to win, or he doesn’t want to win. McConnell, too. So, Trump has to take the lead for Congress.

What I suggest is that Trump announce a MAGA Pact With America. Call it what you like. Announce during the primaries, and insist that any Republican running has to sign on to it. If they don’t, then they are outing themselves as against Trump’s agenda, and Trump and the party can rightfully withhold support and support another in the primary.

The Pact should state that if the people give Republicans a majority, they will do the following:

1. Repeal and replace Obamacare.

2. Change Senate rules if necessary so that a filibuster cannot stop a vote on any part of the pact. Or get rid of it entirely. It is an archaic construct in today’s partisan atmosphere, and its main purpose historically was to allow southern Democrats to oppress blacks.

3. Make tax cuts permanent.

4. Build the wall.

5. End chain migration and visa lottery.

6. End judicial tyranny with the confirmation of new judges, a court jurisdiction revision and creation of new judgeships for areas that need more judges.

7. End spying on the American people. No more wholesale collection of data and no more use of it to spy on opponents.

8. Bring jobs to America through support of trade policies that require trading partners to treat American products fairly and equally with their own, and with how we treat theirs.

9. Enact Trump’s infrastructure plan.

10. Enact regulatory reform that increases Congress’ ability to veto regulations that overstep or that it disagrees with.

11. Increase military pay and improve VA treatment of vets.

12. America will rebuild its defense so that it will not have to fight, and will not engage in any new foreign wars without a new congressional resolution. The resolutions from 2001 and 2003 are over.

It is a 12 step plan to Keep America on the Road to Greatness. It would be popular in Republican areas and, for those that sign on, they will generate enthusiasm that most voters don’t feel for the generic Republicans on the ballow these days.

I think we need to upset the media with attacks on the Dems because it makes them all look crazy. It cashes in on what President Trump has already done to them.

I’m not saying that they aren’t better, if they vote in our interests. But we can’t be like the Dems, who march in lockstep with their Party Leadership no matter what they do or say. If you have a pro amnesty Republican vs a Pro Border Security Democrat, we should vote for the Republican? Seriously?

Not going to happen. Trump supporters don’t like the Republican leadership.

Maybe the Republican leadership should try supporting their president instead of joining the Democrats as obstructionists. They might find themselves more appreciated by the voters who chose Donald Trump over 17 establishment challengers and put him in the White House in one of the most historic victories ever.

Democrats will pull in all the turnout they can to ensure victory. People need to realize this.

The democrats can also lie with impunity to make independents think they are moderate. Then the will vote in lock step with their leftist friends in congress.

Why are Democrats winning all these on the heels of a Republican presidential win?

The GOP is neither pro-gun or pro-life.

Their entire platform is utter hogwash.

if anything Trump is forcing the Dems to run to the right, not away from him.

Trump famously tweeted to GOP leadership, "They don't know how to win. I will teach them." McConnell and Ryan didn't hear this but many Democrats did.

You can bet that 2018 will be a field of Democrat candidates speaking the same populist message Trump used to get elected. They'll be white males who talk a great game on guns and life, jobs, families, American greatness, etc. They'll disparage Pelosi and talk of a need for new, younger leadership.

And their Republican challengers will be the same type of establishment wanks that Donald Trump beat in the primary.

People here still think it's a Republican/Democrat country. We're not. Donald Trump won not because he ran as a Republican but in spite of it. We are a MAGA/Establishment country and there will be Dems who have heeded Trump's message and are using it to learn how to win.

From Jim Noble in another thread:

Out there in the United States, where the rubber meets the road, the only thing people hate worse than Democrats is Republicans.

That's it in a nutshell. The GOPe and its voters can take sole credit for the disaster to come.

That too, in addition to a positive plan, expose the Dems for their lunacy.

They had their chance though, didn’t they? And they proved themselves to be frauds.

Ill be voting for my congressman, Gaetz, though. I like him.

Dems felt Clinton’s win was in the bag, so much so that they did not feel the need to stuff the ballot box with dead and multiple voters. They won’t make that mistake again. Every election will be cheated to the max...

The problem is - once elected, would they actually deliver, or turn on Trump? I think the latter.

Still, show me some Democrats that run populist and pro-life, and we’ll see. Many of them chafe under the neolib yoke, but they tend to be even more hard left in economics. Bernie types, kids, and so on.
