AMEN! That's been my advice since 2012. I had momentary hope in 2016 when Trump won the primary and the general. But now?

I maintain the Republicans will lose 40 to 50 House seats. No one who supports Trump will waste their time to go out and vote for a candidate who operstes just like a Democrat.
Whats worse is this is all by design by the GOP. They want a Democrats majority so they dont have to vote for the Presidents agenda (which they oppose). Plus they know a Democrat majority will impeach Trump, which is what they want. Then the a few GOP congressmen and Senators can be convinced with the Democrats “evidence” and vote to remove Trump from office.
Despite Trumps win, this is still a very quickly dying country. It will not survive much longer.

No...it is not. You obviously have not seen the latest revisions...which have been revised WAY WAY WAY down. The 1st qtr was revised down from 5 to near 1.8% (see WSJ article from 28 Feb) and now the forecast for the year is around 2.7%. Next years estimate is 2.4% That's the real numbers. Your numbers were based on the Atlanta FED estimate, which are ALWAYS too high...and usually always get revised downwards...which have happened in this case.
So, the growth, at under 3%, is NOT enough to overcome decifit spending with taxes from a roaring economy that is not roaring. 2.4-2.7% growth is not roaring...and 1.8% is CERTAINLY not roaring. There has been limited wage growth...and that doesn't help.
PLUS...all of the companies that are benefiting from the tax cuts and are bringing their money back overseas are NOT putting their money into the economy. They are mostly using the tax money for stock buy-backs to support their stock prices to offset the falls from interest rate hike and QT. So, there goes THAT benefit to the tax cuts.
But...I've got time. Sit and watch. Come back in a year and see where we stand. I'll bookmark this page and set a timer on my phone.

I’m wondering if Trump should veto this and ask for a do-over and have them include the pro-life add-ins.
