True. But clear back packs make sense. So does bringing back lockers and frequent inspections. But weeding out potential crazies by having a means to stop abuse of IEP and such would be better.
They don’t have a right to a back pack clear or otherwise. Let them have a taste of the authoritarian state they swoon after. One that can’t be rinsed out with appeals to the Constitution.
Make students, teachers and administration come to school nekkid. Don’t bring in even a pencil as all textbooks and supplies will be signed out as you enter the designated learning classroom areas secured by BCSD.
Pencils are dangerous. Had some girl stab hers into my hand in 4th grade Art class. Could still see the lead point in my palm for 30 some years.

They don’t even allow 20-year-old high school students, or at least, my high school didn’t. You had to graduate by 20 or you were out.
