I could use a part of that ca$h.
Just a few million.

That’s pretty much how we arrived at $21T in debt. Every congressman and every special interest which owns those congressmen said the same thing. And why not. The game of piling on debt has worked year after year, so what’s a few trillion more?

As a debtor nation, we can afford none of those things.

Just WHO keeps loaning us money?

My post is late, but at least Rand Paul certainly seems like one of the true good guys. We thought that was Sessions. Well, we chose poorly.

Rand Paul certainly seems like one of the true good guys.

Rand Paul increasingly appears to be the only elected official in DC who has actually read and understands the Constitution. The position he takes on issues, some of which might not be popular with social conservatives, are based on this nation's founding document.

>>Deep state won. Rush said this really hurts Trump’s agenda.<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I heard Rush when Trump signed. One of the very few times I have been disappointed in his instantaneous reaction ... however, I expect he will walk it back.

Rush is a great treasure, and has been a Trump supporter all along, as I have said many times on FR. His method was often misunderstood by some here.

I hope Rush will consider that: Trump HAD TO GET THE MILITARY money—NOT because of campaign promises, but because we are going to NEED OUR FORCES soon. It is the ONLY answer for NorK and Iran ... and we need to dissuade China and Russia from thinking they want to oppose, either during the actions or in their aftermaths.

BTW, you can see President Trump putting together regional coalitions for BOTH these actions to occur in the near future. I could see NorK happening before the 2018 election if the Summit does not reap IMMEDIATE RESULTS.

Do you ever get the feeling that the U.S. is viewed as one big patsy by the rest of the world? Now you know why.

It took decades to get to where we are. And RINOs helped to pull the Donkey’s cart. Even with 8 years and help, it’s a Herculean task to drain the bilge, right the ship, and get it on a proper heading away from the rocks.

He needs to know we’re behind him and primary out the donkeys’ rhino allies in the elephant party.

...Yeah, mixing metaphors is fun!

Here’s the big 4, from that list:

$1.371bn for Contributions to International Organizations
$961 million to destroy our chemical weapons. Who was it, exactly, who convinced our government to pay billions to develop weapons we now find deplorable?
$2.579m for Commission on Security and Co-operation in Europe
$2.696bn for International Disaster Assistance

I got no problem with disaster assistance. The rest I’m not sure about.
>

I still find it hypocritically amazing. Not one iota of A1S8 Constitutional authority and there are those supposed (R)N(C) posters w/o ‘having a problem’.

Sorry, SOME of us are tired of being enslaved to write the Fascist/Socialist blank checks NOBODY can cover ($120T+ in unfunded liabilities, $21T+ debt, $1T+ deficits); nor should they.

Loan?? If this were a CC, this would be called FRAUD and the bill null/void.

There’s NOTHING ‘loaned’. The govt circle-jerk decrees they have power the borrow on full faith/credit and that’s as far as the discussion goes.

*NEVER* does the topic breech “for WHAT”, let alone “by what authority”

Congress passes illegal/unconst. bills, the Exec. gets to rough-shod over the Law and the Judicial gives ‘em all the cover they need

Yet, We have no ‘standing’. Govt decreed itself above reproach (you can sue...if THEY allow it).

I, for one, have had enough being ‘lawful Citizen’. It only means I’m a resource, a piggy-bank to be robbed and abused. No more.

Most disturbing is the fact that Planned Parenthood is still being funded.

Because (C) doesn’t mean squat. Just another part of the (R)N(C). He’s against their ‘issue du jour’, he’s the ‘enemy’; don’t matter if he’s Constitutionally correct or not (just visit any SS/MediXYZ thread when the ‘cuts’ are made).

Many don't appreciate Senator Paul's lack of enthusiasm for a drug war or neo-con military adventures in the Middle East.

No you can't. The FedGov confiscated it from your wallet and redistributed a whole bunch of it to people who hate you and I and frankly, could care less if you and I were discovered dead tomorrow.

The only thing they'd miss is our "tax contribution" as a result.

Right. Because after the s*-sandwich is forced down our gullets, at least they gave us a breath mint!

To hell w/ whomever, 1/2 the planet away, it does NOTHING to stem the illegal INVASION of our own border(s). Hell, it specifically calls out that’s NOT to happen.

Nothing vs. traitorous sanctuary cities, but full-speed ahead of taxpayer $$ to destroy another generation from the womb.

But, sure, the Nroks and the threats of the region of nukes (as if mutually assured destruction wouldn’t stop that prospect) get the forefront.

We’re being eaten from within like cancer and everyone’s trying to cure the bird-flu in China instead. Asinine.
