Ahmed may be a professor at some college I never heard of, but his knowledge of school shootings is just wrong.
Perhaps he never heard or cared to hear of the massacre of over a 12 Jewish Israeli young children at Maalot or the Islamists/Chechnyan massacre over scores, if not over a hundred school children in Beslan, Russia
The Viet Cong and No. Vietnamese used to routinely massacre school teachers and students, as did the Khmer Rouge (who disarmed their conquered people and then shot them, beat them to death, or buried them alive.
Rwanda, anyone?
Iraq, anyone?
Afghanistan, anyone?
School shootings are NOT specifically an American problem.
There have been shootings in Europe (England, Sweden, France, Germany, etc. This includes universities.
Nuts are the same everywhere plus you have your jihadists, communists, far-right (one case I know of -Sweden), and just plain gangbangers.
For a professor, Ahmed sure doesn’t know much about the subject of school shootings.
If there is ever a serious problems at the Un. of Northern Florida, I’m sure the professor will speedily draw his gun and try to stop a rampaging whoever.
Oh wait. He doesn’t like guns, so he’ll throw chalk and erasers at the assailant. Oh wait, he’ll hide in the closet.
He’ll lock the door and pray that the SOB doesn’t shoot through it or blast open the lock.
Lesson to be learned: If you’re a teacher and are facing an imminent threat, don’t call Prof. Ahmed. Call a cop. Cops have guns. Professors like Ahmed don’t.
Who would you trust in a dangerous situation? A guy who gives you a BS degree, or a police officer who can shoot straight?
Answer correctly and you get an “A” for common sense.

Exactly, however, the left have convinced the general liberal/independent citizens that the AR-15 is an assault weapon- so now facts don’t matter- they are convinced it is-
AND, once they get that banned, then shooters will pick another SEMI-AUTOMATIC rifle to use and the left will go hard after that- calling it a ‘weapon of war’ or some such nonsense- Fact is, all guns are ‘weapons of war- or rather can be used as such- so this will NEVER end- They will keep going after one gun after another until most all but the muzzle loaders are banned=-
Written by an ignorant person. AR 15 is not an assault weapon. Gun free zones are the problem along with medications which increase suicidal/homicidal ideation along with FBI stand down designed to make sure that kids are killed to allow an excuse for taking away guns of law abiding citizens.

Easy to come with a narrative when you sample people that are likely to follow it.
One if those ugly facts about statistics is that the minimum number needed to show a “fair” population sample is 18.
The last election results is a good example of skewed statistics.
Personally, I believe the theory of 18 is a flawed theory. Stats based on the theory of 18 can/are/will be cooked. Heck, even long term baseball stats are skewed.
We need the 2nd amendment now more than ever.
So true; our government has made it clear we are their enemy, and they are importing Third Worlders by the millions to “fundamentally transform” this country into a Third World sh!thole with no individual rights.
