If anyone doesn’t know what we are talking about do a FReep search keyword “Trump Repository”. I always do catalogs of candidates. Under that thread are many stories of his accomplishments and family history and other things one might keep when vetting a candidate.
The words most often used in describing him were : kind , thoughtful, generous, caring .... or varieties of those. The one word used most often was FUN Even at military school both students and faculty stated he was always first person called in if there was a prank. If he hadn’t done it, he knew who did. Loved by the cadets and falcuty

Of course, the following year, they’d sic the IRS on him to be sure he declared the gift and paid his unfair share of taxes on it...
This is close to fake news: Unlike Clinton and Obama, Trump gave the money because he is a very nice, sincere, and benevolent person; whereas Clinton/Obama would have given the money in exchange for “what is in this for me.” Trump is not looking the publicity. Leave it at that.
Trump does nice things for people and doesn’t make a big show of it.

I thought they were changing the Rules so a Vet can go to any Doctor he wants.
Most Progressives would have told him to suck it up and take one for the collective.

You are forgiven confusion. We get confused, too. My understanding is that veterans who have been honorably discharged get to use the VA facilities. I am unclear why a general discharge disallows such.
I know some service members who spent years in really risky jobs (as many as 16 years) like Green Berets, etc. who did not qualify for VA and absolutely cannot afford Obamacare and can’t pay the fees. They get no medical care that I know of.
