It would surprise me if in an average month across the US....Walmart sold more than 12,000 copies of Cosmo.
Cosmo is a liberal rag magazine that exploits women’s sexuality. That is typical for liberals. Complain about everybody else and then do the same or worse.
I love it when the left eat their own.
Rush had these anti-Cosmo commercials for years. Used to drive me crazy! I guess she’s finally had some success.
Who buys any magazine? 90% advertisements.
As a man, I have to say that Cosmo does offer some great sex tips. It is borderline porn in the same category as Playboy or Penthouse and should not be at the checkout display.
Playboy was never porn
If they are able to read English or read at all, a vast majority of Walmart patrons in my area would be reading “Ebony” and “Jet”.
Removed it from the impulse buy area to the book magazine
section. A lot less exposure for sales in this location.
There are endless examples of hypocrisy from the left - every day.
A couple of years ago, I got into a chat with a guy who works magazine orders for some national chain of drug stores. Prior to the Bush era, you could accurately predict that X-number of people were going to buy various magazines every month...mostly at the purchase line. Then something happened to their habits, and everyone cut back...started doing subscriptions instead...and the trend line shifted.
With the exception of when I travel, I don’t read them.
I haven’t had a magazine subscription in ten years. Most shifted to some political focus and I gave up on them.
Did you not notice all those pictures of naked women? Playboy was definitely porn.
Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” depicts a naked woman.
Yeah! We all bought it for the articles, especially those by Hefner.
Why would they even want it there? They’ve been touting the same worn-out sex survey in every other issue since 1965.
Not sure I'd consider the organization formerly known as Morality in Media to be the left.
I was referring to Walmart.
Got it.
Yet, National Enquirer is still in plain view. I liked Cosmopolitan better.
