So the headline doesn’t match the story?

Shocker.

Indeed. It is slanted to make ICE sound like it’s sheltering him.

My neighbor was denied a renewal on his visa and I never will figure that out.

His grown kids had moved here a few years ago, so he decided to buy a house here to use when he was visiting.

He owned a home, his kids were here, but he couldn’t get hid visa renewed. He wasn’t going to start any business here, he owned a large company in Germany.

But we let illegals stay, and get rid of a guy who was not causing any issues, was contributing to the economy by buying things, paying property tax, and they wouldn’t renew his visa. I don’t believe he wanted to get a passport because his business was in Germany...he just wanted a house to come to
and stay when he was in the states to visit his kids and grandkids.

Since he left he rents the home. Probably a great investment because house prices are sky high, and so are rentals.

“By helping to prevent the escape of these prisoners, Palij played an indispensable role in ensuring that they met their tragic fate at the hands of the Nazis.” ..................... Mei Lai comes to mind. Maybe we should deport those who were responsible and send them to Viet Nam? The same goes for the Tiger Force units that operated in pacification areas? War is hell, the innocent if they are turned into sheep, are asking for it. Keep your guns folks, it can happen here, it only takes about 1/3 of the population to take over a country. Then its follow orders or die. Its a pattern, nazis, communists, or other despots, they play by the same rules.

Lets see, it’s 2018 and WWII ended 1944 about. That’s 60+18-4 or 74 years ago. He’s 96 so entirely possible.

Why wouldn’t Israel want him? I can think of dozens reasons why not but the first that comes to mind is perhaps the Israelis don’t see his crimes in the same light. Maybe a guard is just a guard sometimes.

This actually is the typical end game for Nazi War Criminals in the 21st. Century.

They are at very advanced ages, where their remaining time is counted in weeks, not years. No other country wants them. Nobody wants to be on the hook for the exorbitant medical costs that one accrues in the last weeks of life. They will never live long enough to get through a trial, so what country is going to sign-up for that?

He will not be the first Nazi to die in his own bed because of this fact. Daily Beast needs to get a clue.

a conscript without any choice in where he was assigned.

I agree with you. They were soldiers whose jobs were to carry a rifle and insure no one escaped. They weren't officers making decision, they were following orders. Of course they could have deserted and tried to run away but the Germans didn't take kindly to deserters....

ENDURING ANGST: HOW TO DEAL WITH HITLER'S ARMY DESERTERS?

There have been several old men who were alleged Nazi prison guards who were discovered living in my county. They came here after the war, went to work for the auto industry, raised their families then retired. None of them were officers.

The reason this is coming up again is to compare Trump to being a nazi sympathizer, even though, this guys case even goes back to the early 2000s and Obama had 8 years to deport this guy and never did.

I believe that when we get to Heaven we will be surprised to see those that that got in and those who did not. Only God knows what is in someone’s heart.

"... During the first three months of ICE’s 2018 fiscal year, the agency deported 56,710 people, 46 percent of whom had not been convicted of a crime..."

Damn it. MOST (if not all) of those 46% who "whom have not been convicted of a crime" HAVE committed a de facto crime of being in this country illegally. But the Left knows this quite well.

Exactly. If you are a citizen, a REAL citizen, you cannot be deported, only punished under our laws.

“If this guard were to receive the same measure, he should be deported somewhere.”

If this 94-year old is said to have committed crimes requiring the death penalty, deport him for trial. And if convicted, execute him.

If his alleged crimes do not merit the death penalty, drop the prosecution.

Actually, I have to admit after I thought about it that I may not understand that completely.

I suppose if someone came here from another country and became a US Citizen, I suppose there might be a provision to revoke citizenship and deport.

“If he has accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord, his sins are forgiven, and Satan will have no power over him.”

Well then, I for one, hope he remains an atheist today, because he needs to be a permanent part of Satan’s clan.

In 1943, he would have been 19, a conscript without any choice in where he was assigned. The decision-makers are all dead by now, so all we have left are the low-level soldiers.

There are so few former Nazis alive today, that even the low levels who were caught up in the evil regime, are treated like they are Adolf Eichmann!

“Well then, I for one, hope he remains an atheist today, because he needs to be a permanent part of Satan’s clan.”

That is an interesting comment. Is the comment based on Biblical teachings?

If this sinful camp guard is not eligible for redemption then what was the purpose of Jesus’ birth, life, death, and resurrection?
