Laura’s error was not in what she said about the Hoggists. It is the apology. As soon as a Conservative apologizes for anything the left dumps a whole compactor full of garbage on his head. If they scream because he made an accurate observation then he should make some more such observations, double down. Just don’t stray into libel.

Think deeper again. The anorexic boy David Hogg did not attack Laura Ingraham First. Laura attacked him first by calling him names such as whiner etc. I can’t blame the anorexic Hogg counter punching. Looks to me like boy Hogg has learned well from Donald Trump.

Hogg's "counterpunching" might apply here, but that's simply a coincidence. He has spent the last few weeks attacking people all over the map -- from Marco Rubio to Rick Scott to the NRA to John McCain (I almost didn't even remember that guy was still alive). Nobody among any of these every attacked him.
Hogg is just an obnoxious pr!ck, and he should be treated as such.

Point is never INITIATE an attack and then you will not need to apologize. Trump seldom initiates attacks. But when attacked he counter-punches even harder. Laura initiated the attack on Hogg. And he counter-attacked.
What Laura should have done instead is STATE THE FACTS...HOGG WAS NOT A VICTIM BECAUSE HE WAS NOT EVEN IN THE BUILDING where shooting happened. Instead of restricting to stating facts, Laura called Hogg whiner and other names. Thus she painted a target on herself and be open to attacks by liberal media, too happy to jump on it.

The battle should be in defense of our God given rights, like speech and the right to bear arms, our constitution, these are bigger things than Laura. Knocking her down encourages the enemy to do more of the same.
I think she may end up with a case of slander and violation of freedom of speech rights anyway, if she can actually keep those rights.
