Extremely good. Though the roller coaster also runs in marriages, too. We just held on tight and didn’t fall out. LOL!
Crazy weather coming for you all. It was cooler here today...that’s what the dust storm blew in....but the sun made it seem warmer.
Oh! The little black kittie doesn’t look pregnant anymore. She “accompanied” Ghost to the back yard this evening, and despite all I could do, he was a gentleman and let her eat first. At least I don’t have kittens in my shed. LOL! Lord knows where they are.
No doubt about those roller coasters. But your love kept you from falling out. So many people don’t seem to feel it’s worth the effort to work through the low spots and just give up.
I’ve often told hubby that we’re probably just to lazy [or cheap] to get a divorce LOL! but really it IS love that keeps us together.
Spring can get a bit crazy here, for sure. It isn’t always THIS crazy though.
It’s a shame the front didn’t give y’all any rain yesterday - - just that horrid dust.
The sun didn’t make it feel very warm here though it was blazing in a cloudless sky. The wind had a real bite to it. Tomorrow is supposed to be a little warmer and I think less breezy.
Glad that little girlie unloaded her kittens somewhere besides at your house. Or have you checked the shed yet? :-)

LOL! I haven’t checked the shed, but hubby’s been doing yard work and I’m sure he’s been in and out of it. Besides, I figure if there were babies in there, my two would freak out. :)
I hope you get some spring weather soon or it’s going to go straight to summer. Which, since you like the heat, could be a good thing. The speaker tomorrow night....is he doing well in the run-up to the election? Is he a strong conservative?
Just wondered if she’d tucked the kittens away among the stuff in the shed. It seems odd she’d still be hanging around your house if she’d had them at her home, assuming she has one. No telling where they are.
I don’t necessarily like heat but do prefer it warmer than we’ve been dealing with this spring. Some moderate springtime temps would be NICE before the blazing heat of summer arrives. But we’ve had years that went from winter to summer before so we’ll see what happens. It’s still early yet.
There isn’t any one speaker tomorrow evening. They’ll introduce all the candidates for county mayor and county commissioners first. The mayoral candidates will each speak a little, then all will take a few questions. Then everyone will mingle and talk to any of the candidates they choose to. It’s just an opportunity for people to meet the people running for the different offices and pick their brains a little.

I’ve never had the courage to get into local stuff. Or any political stuff, for that matter. Not because I don’t care, but most of the people who are active are social climbers and I don’t dig that.
Black kitty might belong to a neighbor who is close enough that she can leave the babies to have “date night”. it’s really interesting how he defers to her but wants to swipe at Peaches every chance he gets. Actually, I’ve never seen him approach Ginger, so maybe it’s just a male/female thing, though Ginger’s been fixed.
Guess ti’s time to head out for the evening. Looks like Peaches has chosen to stay in so I imagine I’ll get to wake up a lot. Unless he goes out in the next few minutes. See ya tomorrow night!

I already asked the mayoral candidates questions at the gathering our group hosted last month. Happy to sit back and let others have their turn this time.
Things must be different in your area. The people around here who are active aren’t social climbers. We just care about what goes on here and want the right people for the jobs. That goes for the local level on up.
No surprise that Ghost and Peaches don’t get along since they’re both males. Some of ours do eventually and become good buddies but it takes a while. The others tolerate each other but will still spat. We have more problems with the females not getting along.
I hope Peaches decided to go out at the last minute so you can get an uninterrupted sleep! Catch ya tomorrow evening after I get home.
