Although enlightenment is probably to be rejected, you should go to Google Earth and observe the terrain for the roadless desert between 0 and 20 miles west of El Paso

It isn’t as easy in the desert there are no buildings for them to come up into and that area is heavily patrolled, horses, 4-wheelers and 4WD vehicles.

It would not have been built without President Trump. It was planned under the Secure Fence Act but O scrapped all that when he got in office.

This is not the only previous project that got brought back since Trump has been in office. There have been many small sections replaced along the border, it started right after he took oath.

I can see what is going on so it is easy for me to know that he is indeed securing the border and deporting. The media will not report anything that might possibly make him look good even to his own supporters. The media is not only trashing him to the dims...they want his supporters to believe he is not doing what he promised.

It is concrete underground, several feet, then ballard metal. When President Trump met with the Border Patrol after he took office they asked for the fence/wall to be see through in several areas so they could see what is going on on the other side. Due to concerns of the Border Patrol, and terrain along the entire border that goes from water, shifting sand, rock, ETC. an actual wall is not going to work everywhere. I want whatever will work best in each area to be built. I don’t care if it is a fence, wall, combo. This section is a wall with metal ballards on top, but most of the wall part is underground so am sure it will be referred to as a fence. The contractor was interviewed on a local TV station the other day and he said it is a wall because the base is a wall. So call it what you will I am tickled it is being built. We need more, just need a fire under Congress to get money.

I know in negotiations with Mexico we can get repaid in many ways...for that matter securing the border will pay for itself pretty quickly in the savings of supporting illegals. Congress just does not want to support Trump, and many actually support illegals more than the people of this country.

This is not the end of the construction, just the beginning of this project. There is much more to build, and plans for the whole border. Congress needs to quit fighting with President Trump and supporting the illegals over the safety of our people and support securing our border.

Tunnels are a thing in populated areas, especially where there is a city on both sides. It is hard to detect tunnels in cities because of the storm drain and underground utilities, easy to hide tunnels there. The city areas of the border are already fenced, tunnels are rare out in the remote areas where most of the border fence is needed.
