The Twitter universe does not have the information that Trump and Mattis have.
That is why we don’t use Twitter to conduct foreign policy.

Hitting chemical storage facilities? We know where they’re stored? Won’t that release a chemical plume?
I can see both sides. Sending a message to iran, etc.
I’m not sure the cost-benefit analysis of doing something like this pencils out...The worst case scenarios are certainly worth a pause—war with russia, etc.

She does that a little too often for me. That is the part I do not like about her show.
The difference between “candidate” and POTUS is reality. What the candidate knows or thinks, vs the realities provided to those who actually hold the office is like night and day.

We have no good reason to be involved in Syria. None. Syria posed no threat to us, and they treated Christians far better than most other Muslim countries.
Russia is not going to war with the U.S. over us hitting three targets. This attack was more about sending a message to Iran, and more importantly, North Korea - “don’t fk with us, Trump is not Obama.”
She’s saying basically, hey there are atrocities going on in South Sudan, in Nigeria, in China, why are we going off on Assad. This isn’t what Trump was elected on. She’s missing the point. Got sarcastic with Sebastian Gorka when he mentioned the founding fathers. He set her straight.
Agree on both.
Still, I can’t help but miss rational discussion.
