He was born in Ca. in 1924. So my guess is he is a legal citizen. What kind of enforcement that existed back when his forefathers came here, nor the manner, I do not know. 8>)

But, I was shocked to learn he is 94 frigging years old and still sitting on the bench. Proof, at least in my mind, that he has no consideration as to what is best for this country.

More reason we need to keep troops at home and not in Syria.
Two unrelated issues, of course, but we have enough troops to sensibly address both.

I think that the Left is agitating for CW2 and they’re hoping for Russian, Chinese and UN support.
That is perhaps the paramount reason for us to do everything we can to avoid a wet civil war (IMO, we are presently in a "dry" civil war, with perhaps the exception of such as Seth Rich and others about which we know nothing). It would be American Patriots v every leftist opportunist on the planet, some of whom would be poised right across our borders.

Yes, that’s where we are at. They are setting this up, with this judge, so that there is no consistent standard regarding federal laws or federal funds. It all depends on the whim of whoever wants to push a certain policy position.

Since those who want open borders/lenient enforcement oppose efforts to deny federal funding to sanctuary cities, they have decided to find a judge who agrees. They don’t care or understand that this violates existing law or court precedents. All that matters is the current policy position they are pushing.

The only thing he can do is point out that the judges making these rulings do not have the power to do so.
That’s exactly what he should do.

Where does he get the power to do this?

At some point Trump is going to have to go full Jackson and tell the court to pound sand.

If they ignore the law, we ignore their rulings.

“Why the heck do we have a 94 year old Federal Judge still on the bench?“

He knows of many skeletons in big boys’ and girls’ closets.

“Since when did LOCAL judges start making RULINGS for all of the United States?”

He is not a “LOCAL” judge. The headline and the article clearly state he is a federal judge.

Congress, for decades, has abandoned its responsibility for oversight of the federal court system. Congress can, and should, impeach and remove incompetent federal judges or judges who refuse to comply with the Constitution. From the article it appears impeachment proceedings were considered for this judge in the past but for some reason Congress failed to complete its duty.

The Constitution also states gives Congress the power to determine the jurisdiction of the federal courts as well as make exceptions to the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. Congress today can pass a law prohibiting individual federal judges from imposing nationwide bans on any issue. Unfortunately, the GOP controlled Congress seems to have no interest in any legislation to limit the tyranny of individual judges.

As written the Constitution is a brilliant document providing checks and balances to prevent tyranny from any of the three branches of government. Unfortunately the Constitution does not work when any of the branches fail to execute their duties under the Constitution.

Write your Congressman or Congresswoman and ask them to take action to reign in the judiciary. Don’t count on any action though. Democrats love the imperial judiciary and will not take any action to restrict the power of liberal judges. Republicans have no interest in taking on any fight with Democrats or passing any legislation that is not written for the express benefit of their big donors. Checkmate.

CA politics is now intertwined with geo politics. If we did go to war against Russia over Syria, do you believe that the CA political apparatus would stay loyal to Trump and the US? Wouldn’t Russia try to open up another front by using the thousands of committed commie proxies in CA that are dying to help them fight Trump? Russia ran and still runs destabilization operations in Latin America designed to harm the US. CA is just another part of Latin America now.

These leftist judges, mayors, reps are rogue. They are engaged in incremental insurrection against the Federal government. Trump needs to quietly increase military control over this state. He also needs a vigorous intelligence operation to look for real collusion and treason with China and Russia by CA politicians and operatives.

The US Supreme Court weighed in on District Judges making such judgements not too long ago. . . and said it was not their place to make such a judgement.

But here one is, making just such a judgement, ignoring settled decisions. This will be appealed and he will be slapped down, and another activist district judge will step up to do it again. The agenda is to keep challenging the rule of law.
