I like that. It would make a good sign for carrying around the player’s entrance to JerryWorld Junior in Frisco.

Don’t you have anything better to do on a Sunday than watch football?
I used to run into you on the religion board. Had a change in faith?

Professional football is one of the few guilty pleasures I allow myself. I understand others being upset with the leftist crap that’s going on and understand their refusal to support such.
I have a higher(or is it lower?) tolerance for left wing crap in the entertainment field. If every field of entertainment had to line up with my viewpoint I’d sit and stare at an empty box.
However I will not accept being force fed views which absolutely insult my ethics or my intelligence.
And I damn well will not pay a dime to be insulted.

Read the article. FOX is paying NFL THREE BILLION for the rights of TNF for five years.
...
I’ve read that CBS and NBC were losing $30 million per game and they were paying a bit less than Fox.

Comcast should be branded as racist and boycotted. After all, most NFL players are black, and Kneepernick is black, and it's Kneepernick that caused the NFL ratings to drop. So, Comcast will be doing more harm to the black players and will be moving them to a lesser viewed package. So, Comcast is being racist by indirectly reacting to Kneepernick's actions.
Boycott the hell out of the racist Commiecast.

Red, we are in the same boat except with me it's the Colts.
Yep, we sure are.
Two things the NFL has in it's favor.
It ain't soccer and the NBA has the same problems as the NFL.
I tried to watch soccer but when, in the span of five minutes three players were "touched" and fell down before the judges as if they were hit by an linebacker.
Touched, mind you and I'm not exaggerating. Evidently if the ref gives you a couple of yellow cards and if you hit another player you get a red card and have to sit on the sidelines.
That was too much for me but it did help explain Europeans for me. Whadda bunch of p%ssies!

Football along with professional wrestling is the Heavyweight Division of the Celebrity Worship Club where watching 300 pound men being paid 6 and 7 figure salaries to knock the piss out of one another will somehow make the lives of those who witness this activity better and more worthwhile.
The Beautiful People Division, which serves a similar purpose (generally sans the violence) is currently headed by some Armenian American Princess named Kim Kardashian. She is known for the substantial size of her gluteus maximus muscles, so large they have been assigned their own zip code and are believed to have an independent weather system. As is the case with the Heavyweight Division, watching and reading about the comings and goings of the members of this division is also believed to enhance the lives of the average citizen.
In the early days of the American Republic, there was also a Political Division. It was disbanded due to loss of interest after the election of progressive hero Woodrow Wilson, father of the One World forerunner of the beloved United Nations, the League of Nations, the Federal Reserve.

Give it time.
All kinds of insanity has taken hold over the American public so your ideal may not be as absurd as it seems.

I enjoy football because in my younger days I used to play defense end during my formative years at school. I enjoyed "knocking the piss" outta my opponent because it let me vent my teenage angry in a positive setting and was approved of by society. Thanks to it I stayed out of jail and some kids are alive today because of it.
Sports use to be an important part of developing character, making men out of boys.
Nowadays it seems to retard that growth, an end to a means, not a means to an end.
It is kinda absurd to have grown men running around in their knickers chasing a ball and playing their absurb amounts of money. But capitalism(without moral anchors) promotes all kinds of societal insanity.

I’m still on the religious forum every now and then. My faith hasn’t changed, but it appears our denominational nightmare will soon be decided. The bishops for the most part oppose historic Christianity, but maybe the conservatives can pull out a win or at least gain their freedom and their propeety. But, I’m not counting on it. Should be over by end of 2019.

Seems like the NFL cancelled a few Thursday night games last year due to lack of interest. Not so. No TNF games were ever scheduled for weeks 16 and 17, and CBS didn't exercise its broadcast rights in weeks 2, 3, and 9.

In the latest sign that the NFLs stock isnt what it used to be, the leagues flagship network is being removed from a major cable companys most popular subscription tier. [...] Comcast, the largest broadcasting and cable television company in the world by revenue, reached the decision to move NFL Network after Fox purchased the rights to Thursday Night Football for the upcoming season. [...]
Duh ... if it's already on a major network it adds less to the value of a cable package.
Foxs lucrative new deal to air TNF cost a whopping $3 billion for five years.
$50,000,000 a game ... my stock should be so low.

Ditto, lifelong Pats fan as well. Now all of them along with the anti-American, SJW, PC Pink, hate whitey, hate Christians, hate the military, hate law enforcement, hate normal marriage, black racist nfl are PERMANENTLY DEAD to us, along with their "sponsors".
Haven't watched a single game, or ANYTHING having to do with the NFL for two years.
