They know his tattoos.
Surprised none showed in the pic.
He has “Cliff” tattooed on his leg.
Full out APB going on here in Dallas.
Dunno how he was doing it, but I often do even in the summer. :P
It runs into seedy areas like Fair Park
Per Twitter, 7 PM CST presser. Looks like WFAA will carry it...
So do buses. There’s nothing new there - I was in Dallas prior to the train’s expansion from downtown to Park Lane and the thugs used buses back then.
Also, it’s not like they don’t have these things called “cars”. Look around when driving on 75 or 30 sometime. Note the ghetto hoopties.
Dallas City Counsel are the biggest bunch of buttstains I’ve ever seen.
That’s why I don’t live in Dallas
The County board is worse. It features John Wiley Price.
L&L
The radio talker Bill Cunningham frequently bemoans the short attention span of media about dead cops versus media frenzy over disrespect toward criminals.
So many dead officers and their mourning loved ones and so little in the media-—on purpose.
Looks again. Due north of the Home Depot, across Cottonwood Creek, is Hamilton Park. It isn’t upper middle class, and it certainly isn’t white. Sounds like you are thinking about the area east of Greenville (some nice areas over there) or further south closer to Royal (I’ve never had occasion to go up into that area.)
You probably don’t want to park your car at the Forest station to ride DART.
Doesn’t really matter where he picked up the line.
Looking at the layout, I think he intended to use the woods to get to the rail, and then back to the point of origin (perhaps his car)
Cops locked down the light rail
Running in your car on 75 would be madness at rush hour.
Get off and stroll around the 8th and Corinth station some Saturday evening. It’s on the same Red line. Just make sure your affairs are in order, first. (And be careful not to wear the wrong colors).
And at one point, the Park Lane station (the one serving the rich folks at Northpark Mall) led the system in murders.
At least John Wylie is entertaining :) /s
I can, do and have - not had or seen problems. Hamilton Park has actually slowly been cleaned out due to construction going on back there. The area directly to the east of the Home Depot is all middle class/upper middle class homes all the way to Greenville Avenue except for a couple of senior housing complexes. East of Greenville and for a strip extending south about a block and running all the way to Abrams is where the crappiness begins. South of that strip is nice and has some upper middle class/lower upper class housing. People leave Rolls out in the open there.
I live and occasionally work in the vicinity and am often in the areas we are describing. As in I was there last night - I’m rather familiar with the area. :P
I work in Allen, the Hooptiness aint far away.
DART has resumed service as of a few minutes ago, per WFAA.
Get this SOB!
8th and Corinth is on the opposite side of Downtown from where this happened. Also, I go play in South Dallas regularly due to being a gearhead and needing to go to all the junkyards and such that are down there. Familiar with the area.
Also to be fair to DART, the Park Station leadership was because the rest of the system actually didn’t have any murders those years. :P There was also a later incident in the DART station’s vicinity that didn’t have anything to do with DART that was counted in the stats.
