At least one of the other candidates had a career 100 percent conservative voting record, and a 97 from another rating. He’s stood up for just about every major conservative cause.
Trump himself said, “It’s the Republican Party, not the Conservative Party.” He doesn’t claim to be a conservative, and a lot of longtime conservatives, people who have toiled in teh conservative vineyards for decades, will tell you that that is because he really isn’t.
His infrastructure plan, for example, is anything but a conservative idea. Another TRILLION dollars?
So no, he wasn’t the most conservative candidate — conservative enough, but not the MOST conservative.
