FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponents Argument
Post-17th Amendment (17A) ratification Sen. Sanders and his colleagues unsurprisingly dont seem to understand that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to deal with jobs issues, including jobs that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
In fact, Pres. Trump is working hard to fix many decades of bad trade deals approved by Congress that have led to the loss of jobs in the county.
Patriots need to weed misguided people like Sanders who are up for reelection out of office in the 2018 elections.
Patriots ultimately need to work with their state lawmakers to support Pres. Trump in leading the states to repeal 17A.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
Once 16 & 17A are gone then the states can once again uniquely care for the people as the Founding States had intended.
"Our citizens have wisely formed themselves into one nation as to others and several States as among themselves. To the united nation belong our external and mutual relations; to each State, severally, the care of our persons [emphasis added], our property, our reputation and religious freedom. Thomas Jefferson: To Rhode Island Assembly, 1801.
... the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Federal Constitution, is in the States, and not in the Federal Government [emphases added]. Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1866. (See about middle of 3rd column.)
In Bernie’s adopted state of Vermont, where he came after leaving Brooklyn to join a commune in the 1970s, the average non-worker collecting any combination of 42 different free state programs has an ‘income’ of roughly $42k per year.
One third of the residents in VT are on Medicaid and another third are under the care of some mental health agency.
Lord, save us from the commies.
What a surprise!!!!!
He means do-nothing GOVERNMENT JOBS.
I had a part-time job with the IRS once. It was the most sloppily run organization, where people liked to leave early, and not do too much before they left. I lasted two months.
The working class will be the slave class.
“The working class will be the slave class.”
The working class already is the slave class.
