‘It has to be some sort of a sickness.’
This. If we required mental health tests for all of Congress we could get rid of a whole herd of them. For example, years ago I watched Patrick Leahy during a hearing. I thought, this guy is a psychological basket case! He has the emotional maturity of a seven yo.
Leahy is now 78, and you know he’s only gotten worse. These guys function because we pay their massive, sycophantic staffs, but in the real world a lot of them couldn’t even hold down a fast food job. What a mess.

Thanks for saving me the bother.

I totally believe that. Leahy has never impressed anyone with his sparling intellect. It is the smirk that has annoyed me.
One person who always struck me as being amazingly stupid was Al Gore and now look, the man has made a fortune convincing other dummies of global warming/climate change, or whatever the heck they are calling it now.

Lol—you bring up another great point. After the psychological evaluations, let’s IQ test Congress. I bet the aggregate score would be shockingly low.

Neither have I but I never thought they would give up easily. We have a potus that keeps fighting. Never thought Id see that either.

The sad truth is that conservatives fared better under Lynch. It wasn’t until Sessions took over that our side started having our doors kicked in at four in the morning and even our President lost his attorney client privilege. Of course, nothing similar happens to anyone on the left.
Sessions’ weakness has unleashed the forces of evil. Strength and the threat of consequences is all that ever keeps evil in check. Sessions’ passivity and lopsided indictments have so emboldened Trump-haters that they are completely out of control. They go so far as to publicly threaten POTUS...and nothing happens.
We have no idea what Mueller will charge Trump with. All we know is that Mueller has a long and sordid history of framing innocent people, and thanks to Sessions, Trump is at his mercy.

Yes, it would be very low, but I have disagree that it would be a shock to anyone...LOL

The normandy invasion was years in gathering resources and extreme detailed planning.

...they show that immigration, not taxes, is the most important issue for the Republican base. President Trump has caught on, and is stoking the fight with California at every opportunity. Yet it was Sessions who started the revolt, whether he realized it or not. California yes, California could yet save the Republican Congress.Interesting theory.
