My husband agrees. He bans the Three F’s”—fish, fowl and fruit—from his pizzas while my favorite is Hawaiian.

Good grief.

Providing that it is not illegal or immoral, make the food the way the customer likes it.

I think I now understand why restaurants fail at such a high rate.

You are not dispensing manna from heaven. Just food that will become poop in a few hours.

Anchovies, onion...thin crust.

Never have to worry about others wanting any of mine.

A pizza is whatever you want to put on it that you think works.

...

If it tastes good it is good. Give the customers pineapple if they want it.

Wan’t the original Hawaiian pizza Spam & pineapple?

....

It probably still is. I’ve read that Spam is really popular in Hawaii. It’s a popular item for the locals to shoplift.

Pineapple on a pizza is a sin against Man, God and Nature.
I believe if there had been pizza in ancient Egypt, there would have been an eleventh commandment: Thou Shall Not Desecrate Pizza with Tropical Fruit.
Y’all will burn in hell right alongside people that put catsup on hot dogs... The horror...the horror....

I drove for three different pizza franchises in the 90s. All three had pineapple in the fridge for pizza

I like Hawaiian style pizza.

In Spain I wanted a plain cheese pizza but they wouldn’t make one-it HAD to have meat.

I don't think I have ever had pizza with Spam on it, but that reminds me of a "Sad Sack" cartoon of WWII vintage.

The Sad Sack is getting fed Spam day after day and he's sick of it. Then he receives a package from home and is overjoyed--until he opens it and finds that it is a couple of cans of Spam.

Yes, that IS how capitalism works. We don’t have ‘committees’ to rule - we have folks either willing or not willing to put down their cold hard cotash...

Reminds me of one of my funnier encounters... A young women and her mother were having dinner at my home many years ago... The mother had been a member of the communist party in the USSR (which is not as easy as being a communist here) and the daughter asked me how we ‘came up with prices’. I didn’t understand what she meant at first - so she asked again. I tried to explain that everyone ‘makes up’ their own prices on items... chatted about the ‘invisible hand’, supply and demand etc... and it was going no where. So she looks at me and says, ‘do you know how we do it in Russia?’ I said, ‘no’. And she said, ‘we take a Sears catalogue and convert the dollars into Rubles. And if an item is not in the Sears catalogue, we guess what it would be based on the closest item we can find in the catalogue.

That pic of the pizza appears to have all of the toppings I usually order! The interesting blend of Canadian bacon, red onion, bell pepper and pineapple is very good.

The pepperoni is too greasy and the Italian sausage is overly spiced, for my taste.

Pineapple and bacon are popular in some areas of Hawaii. Never could learn to like it.

I deliver for a family owned Pizza place now. Hawaiian is our most popular with the ladies.
Men ordering for themselves usually go with the all meat. Plain cheese with no toppings tells me there will be house full of kids due to a no school day.

Normally plates and plastic ware are needed except if it's all men. Men eat it as Pizza is supposed to be eaten. Pick it up out of the box and eat.

Just last night I watched on you tube a test done on favorite American Pizza with a group of Korean models. They sampled New York, Detroit, and Chicago styles. Chicago won, but not by much. I'd have been happy to eat anyone of them, (the pizza's looked good too.)

Brazilian Pizza has green peas as a topping.

I've had good pizza in West Bank, NJ when I was stationed at Ft. Monmouth.
Typical Italian family owned place with the red/white checkered table cloths.

Probably the best though was in Bangkok Thailand 66-69. But since we were so far from American food, diced rat on pizza sauce, covered with Mozzarella would have been a treat as long as there was cold Singha available.

I always order extra pineapple on my Hawaiian.

Hawaiian pizza is cultural expropriation.
