I had similar thoughts watching the rally last night. I can't think of anybody else in politics today who can connect with the average American like President Trump. During the 2016 campaign when Trump was doing all these rallies, people were saying "crowd sizes don't win elections" but then ended up being wrong. Those rallies were the main reason Trump is in the White House today.
The only politician in my lifetime that could work a crowd of "average Americans" as well as Trump was Ronald Reagan.
Brad Thor might want to stick to writing books and he can criticize Trump all he wants with his elitist buddies.

Trump has the most respect for the Constitution and the rule of law of any president I have witnessed including Reagan. Trump is the most pro-American, pro-military, pro peace through strength of any president since Reagan.
Trump is a big spender. I have to concede you that. Trump's pro-growth policies will offset some of that, although the economic growth won't keep up with the spending growth.
