Roy Moore, turning Alabama blue one race at a time.

Lying Democrat whore reporters along with two psychotic Democrat Kook women, and in collusion with the Democrat Media Weapon system and Republican Backstabbers, turning Alabama blue one race at a time.

Put the blame where it belongs.

What happened to "innocent until proved guilty"? Especially on this forum, I hope for better.

This man does not care about the truth. He's mad because we lost that Senate seat, and he's all too willing to believe what people have repeatedly told him was the cause.

He doesn't care about smearing a man without proof, and he doesn't care about analyzing what happened accurately. He just wants to go along with the crowd (led by the establishment) in smearing another reform candidate.

This game is being played on a level above his ken.

“Dating a 16 year old is sexual molestation? Somebody loan me a time machine so I can go tell my 18 year old self.”

It is a career killer, in politics in the here-and-now.

No time machines allowed.

At 18 I became engaged to a 16 year old, and at 19 married her (at 17).

We recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Given the statute of limitations, it's not possible for Moore to be charged, arrested, arraigned, trialed, or convicted.

It is unseemly that we hold one set of rules for a court of law, and a different set of rules for ruining a man's life in a public spectacle.

Both women would have been destroyed in a courtroom because neither are credible when you look at their lives. This is the very reason they attempted no legal recourse at the time. The shame is that they can't both be thrown in prison for trying it now.

Just. No. I believe he is a moral man, but he can’t win. Especially after the last debacle.

Here I agree.

The question should have been put to the voters like this: Who is more likely to support the Trump agenda, Moore, or this other yahoo?

That’s how simple it was.

It was that simple, but the media have too much power and they made it all about unprovable accusations.

I also think the party establishment in Washington (both parties) had a hand in this. They don't want reformers coming to Washington. They like their spending party just as it is.

Yup, we lost a Senate Seat and for all intents and purposes the Attorney General position.

Alabamans tell me that!
And he couldn’t motivate people to vote for him, sitting on their ass was the better choice. Which they did!

Everything else is an excuse!

Please stop the bullish!t excuses for that loser.

It was OK for him to disappear from the campaign trail for the last weekend because nobody was going to change their mind and it was best for him to keep a low profile?

1. He lost because Republicans didn't even turn out to vote for him. They were clearly not enthusiastic about a guy who didn't seem serious about winning.

2. Why did he hold a major rally the day before the election, if he was supposed to be keeping a low profile?

Your support for this loser is pathetic and nauseating.

strawman argument. no one was trying to send him to prison. they just didn’t want to send him to the senate.

play it straight. don’t spin the facts because your argument is unsupportable.

Alabamans tell me that!

No doubt some of them are believing the establishment propaganda being spread about this in the same way that a significant number of them bought the establishment propaganda spread about him being a child molester and rapist.

And he couldn’t motivate people to vote for him, sitting on their ass was the better choice.

Doesn't this speak more to their foolishness than his? Neither Alabama nor the United States of America are better served by the result we have. The result of their sitting on their @$$es is that the Job of our President is Harder, and the effort to rein in and reform Washington DC is harder as well.

This is the very definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Those who sat down and allowed this to happen were fooled by the constant barrage of media crap, and the collusion of Republican backstabbers, and all I can say is they shouldn't have been so foolish as to believe this deliberate effort to manipulate the public.

And yet ... as a result of fake news, a falsified yearbook, and an unreliable accuser ... some would find him "guilty" regardless. That's just not how it is supposed to work in America. Communist China, sure, but not America.

I hear you, but it’s in the open now and he didn’t have a particularly good defense of himself... he would guarantee a Democrat win.

Please stop the bullish!t excuses for that loser.

I'm trying to do that, but you people keep repeating them, even though they are provably wrong.

Stop repeating crap. It's crap, and it just makes it harder to win the next time, because people will fall for it all over again.

1. He lost because Republicans didn't even turn out to vote for him. They were clearly not enthusiastic about a guy who didn't seem serious about winning.

This is one of those times that I think i'm talking with someone who has a cognitive disconnect. I regard it as literally *NUTS* to believe they were not enthusiastic because he sat out the last couple of weeks. You are completely ignoring the effect of that Rape/Molestation thing as the primary reason for people being unmotivated.

Do you think Mo Brooks would have lost if he had failed to campaign the last two weeks? Can I possibly frame this in a manner that you can comprehend if I use another person as the candidate?

There is no F***ing way that sitting out the last two weeks had a d#mn thing to do with it. The vast majority of the lack of enthusiasm was the consequence of the Rape/Molestation accusations. If you see anything differently, you are not in touch with reality.

Stop making up false excuses for why he lost. He lost because a Democrat Media whore with the connivance of another Democrat whore operative, found two other nutso whores to make unprovable accusations that were amplified by the entire Democrat Media Weapon system, and were also provided additional support from Establishment Republican Backstabbers like Jeff Flake and Richard Shelby.

Get rid of the Democrat whores, he wins in a landslide. Get rid of the Democrat Media Weapon System, he wins in a landslide. Get rid of the Establishment Republican backstabbers, he scratches out a very close win.

But all of them together? Nobody could have survived that. Ronald Reagan couldn't have survived that.

strawman argument. no one was trying to send him to prison.

That is good for them that they aren't, because on the basis of the bullsh*t they have put forth, they wouldn't be able to do it. This is because we have better standards for proof in a court of law than we do for the Democrat Smear machine.

they just didn’t want to send him to the senate.

Yes, we know. This entire thing was about the power of a Senate seat, and nothing else, but some people are so gullible that they thought it was about something else.

play it straight. don’t spin the facts because your argument is unsupportable.

My argument is very supportable, but I fear it is too complex for you to follow. You like your answers simple, and you seem to view these ongoing events as a dog might a tennis match. It's over your head.

He lost ! Pretending isn’t helping!

I'm well aware that he lost, and i'm well aware as to why he lost. I'm just attempting to convey that awareness to others so we stop making this same mistake in the future.

It's not about the candidates. It's about the entrenched establishment system that is bent on destroying any candidate that threatens the system with reform.

Chris McDaniel is not a racist.

During the Senatorial election, I pushed the same case you are about presumption of innocence, but Moore was an awful candidate who put up a poor defense of his own actions. As a result, AL voters elected a dem for that seat. They will very likely do the same if he were to run for Governor.

He wasn't an "awful candidate" in 2012, and he wasn't an "awful candidate" in 2016 until these accusations were put forth. Now you are more reasonable in asserting that he put up a poor defense of his own actions, but i'm not convinced this is true.

How many men could put up a good defense of their actions when they have to face a 38 year old accusation of molestation, and another 38 year old accusation of attempted rape?

Would you maintain your composure? If you had all the national news services calling you horrible names, and claiming (later proven wrong) that you cruised the mall trying to pick up young girls?

Perhaps some men could have done it better, but this was extraordinary pressure, and the man is relatively old when he had it put upon him.

As a result, AL voters elected a dem for that seat. They will very likely do the same if he were to run for Governor.

As a result of what happened to him, they did. As a result of what happened to him, he would very likely lose a race for Governor too. When I first entered this thread, it was my intention to make the point that Moore should give up the idea he has any future in politics, but I am so disgusted with seeing the same claims repeated over and over again, that I have gotten side tracked from that essential point.

Whether it be through his own fault or not, Moore is damaged goods, and he does not have any likely future in politics. He might as well just go fishing or something.
