Democrats embrace Socialism because so many voters do.
I never could have imagined living in a country where 46% of voters embraced Bernie Sanders’ idea of giving everyone a government job. But apparently, they do.

There is no way in Hell, that the 1992 version of Bill Clinton would ever win the Democratic nomination today.

The rat party was infiltrated by communists in the early 1950’s. They switched to

FDR's administration was full of commies so it goes back farther than the 50's.

Good. The Democratic primaries should include a capitalist versus socialist litmus test.

Capitalism has always been a 'voluntary process'. The freedom to engage/support/purchase/create/advance... or not.

Socialism/communism must be a mandatory process.

When I was teaching college economics, I always asked my students if they ever have had to stand in line to buy toilet paper. I then asked them to consider why shortages of consumer goods like toilet paper were the norm in command economies (socialism). It was an eye opening discussion for students. About time we again roll out the comic book version of The Road To Serfdom.

“If Democrats go down this road, their only way forward will be to one-up each other in every primary election. “

And it’s already clear that that’s EXACTLY what’s going to happen! The Dem primary debates for 2020 are going to a real popcorn show for a change! I can barely wait!
