I think they still have injunctions against ex post facto laws ... though the Left would probably get rid of those eventually.
The Brits, i.e., real Brits, need their own “right to keep and bear arms”. Without which there is no free speech or any other freedoms.
If a nation has ‘hate speech’ laws, it does not have freedom of speech.
If a nation does not have free speech, it is not free.
Get the US out of NATO and US troops out of Europe. There are no free Western European countries left and they are not worth the American blood and treasure required to defend them.

After ignoring Muslim rapists for years, they’re already rapidly reacting to criticism of Muslim rape gangs and Muslim migrant crime in general out of the same misplaced compassion, though silencing their critics is also a factor.

True that. And this sort of thing is not limited to Europe. We are already seeing ‘hate speech’ laws on US college campuses. Say something non-PC there, and you will be sanctioned.
Will this some day become encoded into US law? I suppose so. It is illegal to yell “fire” in a crowded theater, as it might cause someone to get hurt in the ensuing panic.
Eventually liberal judges will decide that criticizing, say, Muslims should also be illegal, as it might cause someone to go out and hurt a Muslim.
Hahahahahahaha! Yeah, sure, the first time one of the council’s spouses or kids get into trouble that ruling will be tossed.
