If it’s a concern, there are ways to deploy teh police and security to handle it.
Maybe they should reach out to cities like Detroit, Chicago, and Baltimore, where Democrat mayors have ruined life for the people there, and then use the cities as a contrast.

This is just like college campuses (like UC-Berkeley) turning down conservative speakers because they are afraid of all of the security needed to prevent damage and harm from liberal rioters, such as antifa. The Mayors are succumbing to the “hecklers’ veto,” which becomes a form of censorship. All they need is to announce and show the police force and their no-nonsense “rules of engagement,” and the riots will stop after the first real demonstration of serious police force.
What cities today are not Dem cities
OKLAHOMA CITY has been investing in convention upgrading I am sure they would love to host the Republican convention. They could display their recent improvements. They are in the center of the USA and easy to reach. Major highways go north and south, east and west. The airport is near down town. What more does the GOP want? I’m sure the mayor will be obliging. Looking forward to see y’all here!
