This is a dangerous situation. Trump has had a good week, but the deep state still holds the cards. Gowdy is dirty. Every day you give these seditionists a pass is one day closer to a possible take over of the Congress by the left & Trump’s impeachment.
Trump is very much alone in D.C. He certainly does not have the GOPe on his side. I’m sure he knows more than we do. That said: he’s had horrific legal advice from Cobb & others early on by being cooperative with Mueller. I would like to see him strike fast & quick.

Trump needs to convoy over to the DOJ unannounced and demand all documents they have re: Obama gate and deliver them to Nunes. He has the power and duty as Chief of the Executive branch to produce documents to Congress that have been legitimately subpeoned. That it would be beneficial to him to do so doesn’t hurt either.
When he said Trump should talk to Mueller since he did nothing wrong, baiting the president into a purgatory trap, he was disingenuously showing which side he is on.

I trust Trump knows exactly what is in those documents already. That knowledge represents a three-ace hand.

He’d have to bring the marines with him. Everyone at the DOJ, including Sessions, believe the DOJ is a separate and independent agency accountable to no one.
I read that it is likely they weren’t shown anything because the OIG’s report is coming out soon, and some investigations are still ongoing and any leaks would jeopardize them.
I ain’t worried.
Trump is in total control of everything including whether the info is released. what trump is allowing is for those within government to dig a deeper hole with the public so when the info does get released the fact that the bureaucrats’ tried to prevent the release is not lost on the general public. eventually the threat of impeachment will force the doj to release this info and the effect when it is released will be bigger then what it would be if Trump just decalcified them.
A bill needs to be submitted to cut the FBI’s budget in half, unless it immediately complies.
I would not have left until I got the documents. I would have just sat there and not moved until I got them. I wouldn’t care if they closed the building down. They would have to either arrest me or given me the documents.
They would have gotten the documents.
And therein lies the problem. Fortunately Trump commands the Marines!!
The constant cover up is doing much of Trump’s work for him. The actual information comes out in easily digestible dribs and drabs.
