I do care about Democracy, Russia, Corruption, and the Environment.
Democracy: We elected President Trump in 2016, and I am thrilled that he is in office and keeping his promises.
Russia: I am thrilled that Russia is helping to keep Syria together. I wish we could partner with them more to eliminate the biggest threat Western civilization has faced in a long time.
Corruption: There is far less corruption under President Trump than we would have faced with Hillary.
The Environment? I pray that we will focus on real issues, not the CO2 that we all exhale!

There's the lesson. I don't think Trump is guilty of any of the crap alleged, but the lesson remains.

Dear Bill Maher, we do care about democracy. That is why we are wondering why the ruling party - the democrats - spied on the opposition party candidate during a major presidential election, using the instruments of state and law enforcement agencies.
We have come to learn that they used powerful electronic spying and actual law enforcement personnel. This kind of activity happens in failed democracies and dictatorships.
Furthermore, we are wondering why you and your fellow democrats have absolutely no problem whatsoever with this situation. We can't fathom that whatever moral compass that you claim to have allows for this kind of corruption. You and the rest of your media find some way to justify / spin / absolve this behavior.
So, let me just say that your whining, complaining and moralizing does not touch me the least bit.
You have no credibility whatsoever, other than with your fellow kool-aide drinkers. There is only one special counsel investigation right now, and that is investigating Trump.
Reich slipped a bit here and admitted that Trump's Presidency has thus far been great for America. Where he's wrong is that the problem isn't a "jerk", it's the press constantly screaming that Trump is not just a jerk, but an evil monster. If not for the press, America would be united and prosperous.
The left has never cared about Democracy or the environment.
They do love the Russians.

Is my family safe from violence?
Is my job secure? Will I remain able to provide for my family?
What are the odds that I will be able to retire comfortably?

Honestly, America’s a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy. You want a democracy, go back in time to France during Bastille Day, or even the Weimar Republic with the street fights between the Nazis and the Communists. That’s democracy right there in its true ugly face. I wouldn’t even WANT a democracy at all.
As far as Russia, Trump never colluded with Russia. While Russia may have done some interference for the election, it was most likely either on Hillary Clinton’s behalf, or otherwise they wanted to orchestrate a riot regardless of who got into office.
And the environment? Okay, complain about Mexico and China, heck, Soviet Russia even, destroying their environment, do something about that, and THEN you can complain about our use of the environment. Besides, you ARE aware that our over-focus on the environment’s most likely the cause of the recent wildfires in California, right?
