My question is how can “all” the people of the earth be gathered together against Israel? I can’t see Israel doing something so terrible that all her allies (especially US) would turn against. I’ve always wondered why the verse is framed that way.

The excuse for the invasion.....since they damaged the gate and gas supply lines in earlier attacks, there are shortages to keep the terrorists comfy....

At this hour... Jerusalem is quiet - no outbreaks of violence.
Gaza border situation is contained with one Arab rioter shot dead attempting to breach the border.
Hamas is more bark than bite and the Arabs have harmed themselves by destroying pipelines at the Kerem crossing.
Israel has deployed small drones to deal with an outbreak of kite terrorism that has farm field in Israel on fire in recent weeks.
Hamas’ attempts to test Israel through mass violence have failed. And the small number of Arab casualties shows Israel’s riot controls have worked.
The big losers in the so-called Great March Of Return have been the Arabs themselves.
The Hamas thugs will stand behind the crowd with guns aimed at the backs of their citizens. With guns aimed at their backs, the mob will surge forward and try to cross the border. Israel will have no choice but to repel the invaders. When the dust settles, Israel will be blamed for a “massacre.” The lesson here is that the only country in the world not entitled to self-defense is Israel.
If you are gonna shoot at them, you might as well maximize enemy casualties.
