I wonder if Dearlove was the guy who leaked the memo about a July 2002 high level meeting in the UK where Blair discussed the possibility of regime change in Iraq 8 months before the invasion - the leak of the minutes to the meeting was timed politically to hurt Blair by giving the impression that regime change was already decided no matter what.As it happens, Dearlove had just returned to the UK from Washington DC, and he was of the opinion that war was invitable... wonder who all he met with in DC who wanted him to leave the US with that conclusion?
