In a saxophone case, perhaps. The fundamental problems are of course that:
- journalism promotes these occurrences with their coverage.
- all gun-free zones are attractive to perpetrators of such outrages.
- bad things start to happen when you get more than 500 to 1000 people together in the same place. Nobody knows everyone, and too many people are strangers to too many others.
I love the public service announcements which start out fairly noncontroversial but wind up being liberal claptrap - and end with the tagline, The more you know."
Considering the number of schools, gun violence is trivial
More kids are injured in bus accidents than with guns.
More kids are shot on Chicago streets than in schools
