This type of thing was predicted by many here. Never forget they hate you and want you dead. Prepare accordingly.
While I was born in Iowa, not known exactly as a hotbed for civil war era Confederate sympathizers, it was very disturbing to see the vitriol and hate against the civil war monuments - because anyone knows they will not stop at the Confederate monuments. The issue, as they say, is never the issue. They are a stepping stone to further reach their goals.
They are professionals at their wicked craft, it must be said. Recall the president merely pointed out that there were “good people” at Charlotte who did not want the monuments removed. He was not endorsing neo-Nazis or neo-Confederates, there are millions of people who feel this way without a racist bone in their body. The fake news outlets just flat out lied.
Same tactic when the president called MS-13 gangbangers “Animals”. This was immediately twisted into yet another lie, namely that the president is calling “Immigrants” names. Truth be told, they are not immigrants.
The whole web of lies they have been weaving is falling apart before our very eyes. Truly, truly, something to behold. It does not reflect well upon the leadership in Washington that a single individual who, it must be pointed out - had never previously held ANY public office - has exposed so much rot and wickedness and caused so many to collectively lose their shit. About damn time in any event.
Very sad what happened at that cemetary, and very infuriating for our country that our universities have been turned into leftist brainwashing centers and ruining so many kids. The architects of these activists are very insistent that the young are functionally incapable of connecting the dots and focusing their ire where it truly belongs. I pray for this to happen.

I live in Jacksonville, NC, which is home to one of the largest Marine Corps installations in the world, and we were just recently named one of the most patriotic cities in the United States. We have a “Freedom Fountain” at the entrance to the city closest to the base which was very thoughtfully designed to represent all three divisions of government, all fifty states, and all five branches of the military. It was vandalized this past week when every single light that illuminates the fountain was deliberately smashed so that it will not be operational on Monday and will be unable to have the red, blue, and white lights glowing through the flowing waters of the fountain as it usually does. It will cost thousands of dollars and will take many months to repair it. Even in the most patriotic city in America, we have those who have nothing better to do than to destroy something meant to honor all of our military.
Nazis know how to draw a Swastika, these are backwards(yes I know, but the ancient version wouldn’t be a hate symbol)

The report has been questioned because of identification errors (names) and location which indicated this did not occur in a national (VA) or state operated cemetery dedicated to veterans.

My default position on incidents of these types is that they are fake hate crimes.
