But proponents of Evolution always take the attitude that: “This is science. We know this stuff. These are facts. We know all about this, so go away and shut up because Evolution cannot be questioned.”

And then they find out that their facts are wrong. So they get new facts.

And they adjust their theory (but NEVER question the pre-ordained conclusion). And they say: “This is science. We know this stuff. These are facts. We know all about this, so go away and shut up because Evolution cannot be questioned.”

It’s a cult.

Natural science consists of two basic elements: observations (aka "facts") and explanations (aka hypotheses/theories).
Every day science learns new facts which cause adjustments to their explanations, it's how science works.

Of course when people who loathe & despise science itself claim they have "facts" or ideas which falsify scientific theories, well... scientists will not normally take them seriously until their own observations confirm such claims.

DungeonMaster: "These are religious questions that evolution answers, and answers incorrectly."

No, the first of those can be a scientific question: "Where do we come from?", in the material sense, not a religious or philosophical sense.
That's because there are multiple lines of physical evidence, from fossil morphology to DNA comparisons suggesting every species alive today evolved from previous species over deep time periods.

By definition, science itself cannot answer philosophical or religious questions and when scientists attempt such answers, they are speaking out of school.

I question Evolution, therefore I “loathe & despise science itself”?

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Maybe you need to read this:

BWAHAHAHAHA!"

But many don't just "question" evolution.
They also deny some of science's basic assumptions, for examples:

  1. Only natural explanations for natural processes.
  2. Processes we see today worked the same in the past.
  3. Deep Time, as suggested by geology, radiometric analysis and astronomical observations, is a scientific reality.
  4. Today's measured & counted mutations from one generation to the next also happened in Deep Time
  5. Natural selection has operated throughout life's existence on Earth.

I'd say people who find all such assumptions loathsome & despicable in fact hate not just evolution, but all of natural-science.

Does that include you?

ClearCase_guy:"Maybe you need to read this:"

Sure, many on the Left also hate science, unless it supports their political ideology.
It only proves that ideologues can sometimes find the reality of science... ahem, uncomfortable.
