Always had serious reservations about Giuliani. When he was Mayor he loudly proclaimed how pro abortion he was and allowed NYC funds to go directly to Planned Parenthood. He would not listen to anyone who objected to NYC sponsoring a gay fest called the “Gay Games” and made sure people knew it. When the Yankees had the bad judgement to allow their home opener to be scheduled on Good Friday, Giuliani got dressed up in Yankee gear like some semi retarded adolescent and ignored the solemnity of the day.

Frankly he babbles at these interviews and does nothing to explain rationally Trump’s position and help the American people understand the plot to destroy a duly elected President. Giuliani is past his prime.

Guiliani is correct. The ONLY part of government with the power to confront the president is Congress. NO court has authority over the office of president and the person filling that office. Department of Justice, Special Counsel...NONE of them!

SJWs are so incensed... But anyhow the appropriate thing would be to impeach if Trump shot Comey. But what’s a little constitutional Calvinball?

Andrew Jackson shot someone in a duel, IIRC, though I don’t think he was POTUS at the time.

Giuilani is technically okay here. Even if his politics stinks to high heaven. One does not “indict” a president in the USA. One “impeaches” a president.

President Clinton was acquitted by the Senate on a party-line vote.

A Democratic House can impeach Trump but he’s not going to be convicted by a GOP Senate.

There a deliberate high bar to remove a sitting President from office.

That has never happened.

“If he shot James Comey, he’d be impeached the next day,”...

Hypothetically, wouldn't he shoot and instantly self-pardon?

Heads are exploding.

Yep!

Rudy is giving Democrats (and a few weak-kneed FReepers) the vapors!

Rudy is telling 'em who's in charge. The Democrats and their liberal media enablers thought it was Robert Mueller who was running the show. They were mistaken.

I'm loving this!!!

“If he shot James Comey, he’d be impeached the next day”
There you go. The RATs will now shoot Comey and blame it on The President.”

Trump will be in Comey’s nightmares for awhile after these remarks.

They are double daring Mueller to act. If he were to subpoena Trump, he would need to put forth a theory as to what exactly it is Trump has done wrong. He would need to explain what the collusion is and how exactly it is a crime. Absent that, he would need to explain what the obstruction is. I suspect that the collusion is non-existent. I also suspect that the obstruction will be the criminalization of the President’s Constitutional powers.

In short, Mueller will have to spin a version of reality in which a non-elected, appointed official (such as Comey) or an agency (the DOJ) is above answering to public office holders. Put differently, Mueller will be seeking to establish a Deep State super, permanent government and arguing it’s protected supremacy.

I believe Trump’s team understands this and is relishing the fight.

Giuliani says:

“Robert Mueller needs to ‘man up,’ avoid pulling ‘another Comey’ as Russia probe wraps up!”

Only a criminal trial

How long will CNN keep talking about Mueller being forced by Trump to clear him.

The Special Counsel is unconstitutional because it created a rogue prosecutor’s office not subject to the oversight of the President, Congress and the courts.

It provides latitude for unchecked abuse of power and open-ended investigation of persons of interest - even if they have no crime. The SC is like a Star Chamber, an institution not contemplated by our Constitution.

You do not want a prosecutor who in effect is accountable to no one. That is exactly what we have now in the SC’s office.
