When you make the desert bloom, what do you do for an encore?
Bravo Israel!

I did not realize that Israel was suffering such a severe drought. I will include them in my prayers!

In Hebrew, its called Yam Kinnereth, from the Hebrew word “kinnor” - meaning “harp.” Because the shape of the lake resembles a harp.

About 5 years. Fortunately they have solutions. Open to correction, but I don’t think it’s had a big economic/lifestyle impact. It’s not California after all.

So, did Jesus actually walk on water or on a dried up lake bed?

Five years is a long one. However, the ingenuity and resourcefulness of Israel is a wonderful thing!

The sea has its own fish industry. You can buy Galilee sardines at Jewish food markets. Jews are industrious people, unlike “Palestinians” whose sole goal is to destroy Israel. Remember the Gaza greenhouses which were looted and destroyed. Two 747 planeloads of fruit and vegetables a week were sent to Europe until Gaza was "given" to the arabs, then it stopped. Hate destroys everything.

California should be building desalination plants on the coast instead of a high speed train to nowhere. But that would make sense, so it will never happen.

The disciples didn’t scream in terror because he was walking on a dried up lake bed.
To: Disambiguator
Yes that would make too much sense, so no way will CA do it!

Desalinated seawater is expensive. I hope the US Taxpayer isn’t paying for this.

I know people need good fresh water, but I`ve wondered
what they do with all the salt that is removed fron
the sea water.

Israel’s large scale desalination has made droughts irrelevant to them. I’m sure they will appreciate the prayers but do not be concerned that anyone or anything lacks for water in Israel.

I had the pleasure of going on a 2 hour boat tour across Yam Kineret a few years ago. It was very windy, so we were flying. Such fun!!
