So is Sessions. IIRC Sessions said he would wait for the IG report before deciding if a 2cd SC was needed. I'll bet he decides that DOJ and the FBI can handle things internally. Sessions really needs to be fired.
That list of deeds leaves out 9/11...they knew a hit was coming.
How could I forget? I’m so cynical now that it would not shock me.
If I am ever on a jury where the FBI was involved in the case in any way, I’m voting to acquit.
I suggest all of you do likewise.
You should do Stand-Up comedy. Some of us don’t howl with the lynch mob when we know nothing.
But since you found me out let me say “I am not Deep State.”
a special counsel is a waste of time with no teeth it would just delay things further plus if you were paying attention you would know that sessions appointed a PROSPECTOR in Nov of 2017
WASHINGTON, DC Professor Jonathan Turley, a top national legal expert on government investigations, commented on Thursday about Attorney General Jeff Sessions decision to bring in U.S. Attorney John Huber. Turley called it brilliantto combine all the powers of the U.S. Department of Justices inspector general with a prosecutor who can bring charges, seek indictments, and get results for President Trump far more quickly than a second special counsel.
Sessions sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC), and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), informing them that Huber is conducting a full-fledged criminal investigation into all the matters Republicans are calling for a special counsel to investigate. Huber has been investigating these possible crimes for five months, since November 13, 2017.
Incorrect, Huber is reviewing the OIG report to help Sessions decide if a second SC is warranted. There is no grand jury and there are no indictments. Here is the letter, read it for yourself
