The new policy is that the host government must be complicit in systematic persecution of a particular group of people to qualify for refugee asylum.

Just like the old, original policy before Obama.

We cannot take them all, even if we wanted to. And we don't.

Interesting this lawyer blaming the US for creating the problem because we deported criminals back to their home countries. That's a hoot.

no. The gangs already existed in South America where they were known as rebels and criminals. They came to the US illegally, committed more crimes, were thrown in prison where they buddied up and then deported. And since we now have the exact same rebels in the US as in South America, 'fleeing gang violence' is not a valid reason for amnesty. Amnesty would just increase the population that the rebels/gangs prey upon.

There needs to be a moratorium on accepting refugees. There are lots of other countries to go to.
