Cruz is a numbnutz. If a family truly has a legit case for asylum under US law, they can present themselves to a legal border crossing point and stay together while their asylum request is evaluated. The fact that so many are still attempting illegal crossings indicates they are either not eligible for asylum or were too stupid to research the relevant US law before spending thousands for a coyote to smuggle them illegally into this country.

Either one should not be a reason for special dispensation.

As long as we can expedite processing. The bill has that provision. So it is not really an internment camp. It is a TEMPORARY SHELTER.
