The 2nd largest economy in the world is China, with a GDP of 7%, so don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.
At one point during the first quarter I believe GDPNow forecast a growth rate over 5.5%. Actual growth for the quarter was around 2.5%. Impressive, but considerably lower than the highest prediction.
They are probably ‘purposely’ OVER-Estimating so that they can say, “Trump’s Economy is crashing!”...................
No. The Atlanta Feds GDPNow tool is a snapshot it time. A current read of projected growth on a particular day given the economic information that was released that day. It's been used for years and has always shown results like this. Unless the various administration agencies are skewing their economic data for political purposes then there is no way the GDPNow could be used for political purposes.
Gee, No way a Washington, DC Deep State bureaucrat would do that! Right?...........
